I'm from Clarence, which is about 7 miles east of Buffalo, if memory serves me correctly. I still have quite a bit of family back there, but I hardly ever make it back.
I have a gotta love Ford story about a dealer up there though. Back in '70 my dad was working at Muck Motors and one of the guys there blew up his Boss 302 motor. So he ordered ONE block with TWO heads. Ford send TWO blocks and ONE head. MY dad bought the second block, ordered two heads and dumped it in his '65 k-code without a second thought. Gotta love the good old days, eh? (That car is long gone BTW):(

Yeah, Ive been around. I think I drove through there on my way from New Jersey to Buffalo for a wedding around 14 years ago.

Which brings up a mustang story. I was driving my 84' GT with T-tops and I was with a buddy, and we were driving to another buddys wedding in Buffalo. We all lived in central Jersey on an Air Force base.

Anyway, I wanted to open er up some, it was late at night and there wasnt hardly any traffic on the raod. I held it wide open for a long time, Im guessing we reached around 130 mph or more with the t-tops off, and I held it there for a couple miles or more, it was cool. So I figure I better slow down before I see a cop and I let er coast down to around 90 mph and what happens, i pass a cop sitting there on the side of the road. I thought "oh crap, Im busted, but at least I wasnt doing 140 and its a good thing I slowed down when I did" Well, he never even came after me....maybe he was sleeping?

We got so drunk at the wedding, that we both passed out in my stang in the parking lot....ah....those were the days.
