I need a HP estimate
My friend has a 1986 Z-28. He pulled the boad ancor 305 and is puting in a 350. It is a 350(from the late 80s i think) bored .30 over. With an edelbrock performer intake, edelbrock 650cfm mecanical secondary, comp cams 268H, headman long tube headers, mallory eletronic ignition, and a gear drive, rollor tip rockers, and full exhaust. What kind of HP would this thing make at the flywheel.

I'm gonna guess about 350 flywheel, Lots of variables here...block prep (blue printing, balancing, torque plate honing, etc.). My guess is 350.

If it's got stock heads then I'd say 260-280hp, that motor wouldn't strike any fear into me.

He would be damn lucky to hit 280hp in my opinion that motor probably has double hump heads or something on it witch are pretty restrictive

That motor looks just like my brothers 406 small block.
If he tunes it right 270-310 hp lots of things come into play. I think I missed the mark. I misread the post to include Edelbrock performer heads as well. With those heads, i think he would maybe be at 350 flywheel HP. My error.
