Sky, over the summer my wife of 8 years and I called it quits, and no one around us saw it comming. Long story short it killed me to be treated like she was treating me, but we both moved on and both have found someone much better for each of us. I have a connection with my new girlfriend like I have never, ever felt before. Trust in fate, and try to move on with as little pain as possible.

Good luck.

GTgrl00 - IF you know a good one other than yourself that isnt 20 hours away from me please let me know. I've looked and to no avail have I found a nice, considerate, good looking car girl to hang out with much less have any kind of relationship with. That old saying "There are other fish in the sea". That may be true but I guess i'm just fishin out of the wrong boat.

Nah, your problem is simple. You didn't buy a permit. The government needs it's cut too ya know! Love permits go for about $2.6 bazillion dollars. I've also heard you can get around this by looking hard for a long time. That's the loophole I guess. Don't tell Uncle Sam I gave that info out by the way.... It's something they don't want to get out!!:D

My lips are sealed. Maybe thats why I haven't got a bite yet. I will go buy a permit tomorrow. I buy a hunting permit also. I believe Hank Jr.s said it best with, "I'm going huntin tonight boys, but I ain't takin no gun". He also is quoted as saying "I live to love TEXAS women". With that said I begin to pack. I believe i'm moving. Texas here I come.

Skyman,

I know exactly how ya feel. Just broke up with my g/f last Tuesday. Even though we only dated for about 4 months - we had known each other for about two and a half years prior.

I knew that this was going to happen (we hadn't been communicating like we had when we started dating lately - barely talking at all) about 1 month ago. Now - there were definitely some issues with her and I - like, she hated it when I would spend time w/ my friends - ya know, the guys getting together, drinkin' a few cold ones - shootin' the sh*t. She said that she liked my friends (which I do believe to some extent, seeing that's how I met her), but didn't like the way I acted when we were 'partying'.

In the beginning of the relationship, it was awesome - we were unseparable. She would even call me on her business trips (she travels a lot) - and say she can't wait to get back. I guess the first couple of months was just that infatuation / warm fuzzy stage.

We broke up for about a week - she just got to be too controlling. Expecting me to take her out all the time, blow off my friends, and pay for EVERYTHING!. No way am I going to do that - this is a new millennium, not the 50's - 60's!! (where the guy treats for everything).

She asked me to be her date to quite a few events over the summer - weddings, company picnic, a bar mitzvah, for a brother of a kid she used to teach. We went on road trips, and camping, I had a great time! For once I had a really great time with a chick... didn't need to be around my other rowdy guy friends getting all sh*t faced to have a good time! It was cool!

...and then comes the sex! Whoo Hoo!! She was WILD. Not a nympho, but incredibly adventurous! :D She absolutely loved cunnilingus and giving fellatio. :p ...and LOUD! Sh*t!!! We had the cops come to a hotel we were staying at one night on a road trip we took to western Michigan. Answered the door dripping wet with sweat, the mattress and sheets off the bed... :D ...and in the Mustang - (does female ejaculate ruin leather)? Oh well! I had an Awesome time - by far the best sex I've EVER had!

Anyway, a couple weeks ago I ask her if she wants to do some Christmas shopping w/ me at a few outlet malls at Birch Run later this month - after Thanksgiving... she says - NO - she's going to be with her family. Then I ask (with hesitation) how about the first of December - she says No, she's got something to do at 5:00PM. I'm like, 'what'? She finally tells me it's her company Christmas party, and says she wants to go alone. (At this point I knew it was over). If it had been a few months ago - I know she would have invited me weeks before...

So, anyway - I gave her all of her stuff back, and collected all my stuff from her place on Tuesday. I was going to break it off with her this weekend - so she beat me to it. (Guess that makes me a MAJOR LOSER! esp. to any of the females that are reading this!) :) As I'm leaving her place, she says 'wait, you're not leaving that easy', and gives me a huge hug! WTF. 'We're better as just friends, I still want to hang out together', she says. I wanted to ****ing punch her in the face!

In ending (I know this post is long - I find it therapeutic actually), I cared about her more than any woman I've ever dated. Even though, it was a short span - I had thoughts about marrying her! SH*T!! (I need to call a shrink). I mean I am getting up there in age - 32. Damn!! My mother's like - 'I want to be a Grandmother' I could make her a grandmother this weekend, but I think she'd like me to be married first! :)

I know ending relationships is hard weather you're on the giving or receiving end. But I've been through this many times before - trust me - time does heal all wounds. Try to think about the things you didn't like about her in the mean time.

Mike

Whoa <Gt girl Wiping sweat from her brow> damn Mike, how ya doing man, haven't heard from you in awhile. I can see you been a little BUSY! ;)

Talk about detail, is there anything you forgot to tell us, j/k. And to think all you can worry about is how the Stang's leather is going to fare(that cracked me up the most, considering all the chats we had about taking care of the precious leather).

But really you are correct time does heal all wounds, I can certainly attest to that! Hey take care and keep in touch. :D
