Post I work with ricers!!!!

I just started a new landscaping job about a month ago. The one guy I work with is a certified mechanic so I thought he might be able to install my gears when I get them.

We were talking today about cars. He said he would take a Tiburon over a Cavalier anyday. I asked him why and he said:

"A Cavalier is not considered a sports car and a Tiburon is. I'd buy a Tiburon and tint the windows, then put a hood scoop on and then maybe a different wing"

I wanted to say something to him but I just kept my mouth shut and smiled and agreed with him. Just wait till I bring the stang to work one of these days. Then he can see what a true SPORTS CAR is!!

I don't mean to sound like a skeptic, but....
If he's a "certified" mechanic, why is he working landscaping and what areas is he certified in.
Someone may sound like they know what they're talking about, but be skeptical that he knows how to do things right. I had bad experience with "mechanic" friends before i started working on cars myself.
If he does know what he's talking and can actually do things right and he just happens to be a ricer that should be ok, but just make sure he doesn't slap on any stickers on your car while you're not looking or add a 10ft tall wing

Calling the Tiberon a sports car is like calling a Focus a luxury sedan.....

I guess its time for those sports-car Tiberons to come over to the track and whip up on some Stangs and Camaros...HAHAHA

I test drove a tiburon, it's slow as... you know what. I'd rather drive a 96 twin cam staturn than that!!!! A whole lot faster.
I has a nice body kit, and that's all. It looks fast, and that's it.

The kid drives a Dynasty (Die-Nasty) with over 150k miles on it. He used to have a Neon that was "all pimped out". He does like mustangs though. I had to drive the stang to work today and he offered to buy it from me. I guess there is some hope for him afterall.

Has anyone ever tried fitting in one of those Tiburons? I ain't a big guy at all and I felt like I was getting into a little box. If I was in a accident and in one of those things, they'd just burry me with the car cause they would never get me out of it. I don't mind the looks, real sports cars start at 200hp and up. That's just a aerodynamic economical car.
