1. BMW M5 2. Toyota Supra 3. Acura Integra Type R (i dont know why but i like them for some reason) Of course there are plenty of muscle cars that I would rather have but if you HAD to have one what wolud it be?

If i had to buy an import sports car here are the vehicles i'd probably buy:
European: Porsche 928 (RWD, front engine, 50/50 weight, etc. - The DOHC 5.0L V8 from i think '87+) Any M-series BMW...they're all really nice Either the new 911 Carrera Turbo 4, or the (i think) 977, which is so fast and emissions bad that it's illegal in the united states to import. Japanese: Toyota Supra Twin Turbo Nissan 300zx twin turbo Mitsubishi 3000GT twin turbo (notice a theme yet) Honda S2000 ...i might also add that if you look closely you'll notice ALL of the vehicles i selected are either rear wheel drive or all wheel drive. This also is in no way a reflection of cars that i could AFFORD...but you never mentioned that in the post

Honestly if i had to drive an import it'd be a Tacoma Prerunner.
But i think you mean cars. Then i'd have to consider something that is sort of in the range of the price of my stang. Asian: Subaru WRX, Lexus IS300. European: BMW 3 Series. |

E 55 Benz
360 Modena Ferrari (With the F1 style paddle shifter on the steering cloumn Or if you mean more attainable daily driver types I'd get a VW corrado VR6 and if I had to go to Japanese it would be a Nissan, the only Japanese automaker I respect.

Import car choices
Well, we all want Ferrarri's, Porsche's, Mercedes's and BMW's along with Supras, etc.
Talking reality choices is something else. You can't beat a Honda for reliability and it's affordable if not inspiring. I recommend them to a lot of folks who need a family car they can depend on. In the 'sport car' realm, not much is available for the price of a new 'Stang but a Mazda Miata is fun if not fast and a used BMW M3 or a Lexus GS430 would fit the bill, although only if repairs costs were not an issue. Just thinking about how few affordable, fast cars are actually available for a price the average person can pay makes me appreciate the Mustang all the more. |
