Hell, I might as well... seems there's alot of 9 sec cars in the User's Ride section that either don't list an ET or have never made a 9 sec. pass. :rolleyes:

ultraflo still sits comfortably in the 10.0-10.9 section, until I see that single digit timeslip, that's where it's going to stay, lol. ;)

Seriously though, I should have that taken care of, legitimately, before the end of next year... we'll see. :D

I think some people may have put their 1/8 mile time in there, not being smart enough to convert it to a 1/4 time.

LOL, yeah I found that to be the norm in the 6, 7, and 8 sec categories. :D

and, viola!, you're in! :)

Your going off of the user rides to find the top 50.

That really takes alot of the credibility out of the list.

I agree with you... 100% ...there's alot of BS floating around in there. I've only received a few entries via email with timeslips and a picture to match. Maybe I could do a TOP 10 list, lol.:rolleyes:

Can we just go by the honor system? I don't think you're gonna get that many pics with timeslips and the car this time of year - as Dark_5.0 said.

I mean, if we see any BS, we'll just call it out. I would say most of the frequent members here are pretty honest and we all seem to know each other pretty well. If some 'outsider' comes in with a hard to believe time then we could just ask for proof.

What do you guys think? Or, am I just too naive? :D

Actually, I did see a modified truck chassis run an 8 second 1/4 at the 1998 NHRA Finals in Pomona, with a 4.9L inline six. That same day I also saw a battery powered, full size dragster pull an 8 second pass, too.

Swear to God.

I'm definately in for this summer. I have my timeslips still and i believe i can get a scanner. Hopefully i'll have my new fuel system/suspension/engine top end/nitrous setup by this summer so i can blow up my engine.

so far the horrible times i have are on BFG euro T/A tires with some awesome wheelhop, i can send my fastest (relative to a stock mustang) timeslip to you.

This is an awesome idea, even if i don't make it, it'll still be fun to try :D

Dan informed that a 'timeslip database' would be added to the User's Rides section in the near future, which would essentially be a "who's who" of the MustangWorks community (as far as drag racers go, anyhow). I imagine that will put a damper on any of the BS that seems to currently perpetuate in the UR section of this site.
