Default ignorant ricers

I was thinking about the term cat-back and decided that I don't like it. I was speaking with a guy from the ricer crowd. In our conversation he says "I'm getting a cat-back." So I say "What." I wanted to know which cat-back system he was getting. He repeats "I'm getting a cat-back." I guess he thought that cat-back was the brand name or something.

So then I started thinking. What does catback mean? Welll when i got my flowmaster cat-back system, I got two mufflers and the tailpipes. If cat-back means everything from the cats back than isn't that just the mufflers and tailpipes. Why make up the word "cat-back" so that you can say "mufflers and tailpipes"

I know this is odd but everytime i hear someone say cat-back I tmakes me think of all the ricers out there. And especially that one who was telling me about how he is going to get "A cat-back" and "naaws"

he must have seen THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS!!!!! Yeah, but it is easier to say catback instead of mufflers and tailpipes. ya know? the term catback is everything from the catalytic converters back..right on.

Don't forget about the intermediate pipes! They are back of the cat's as well.

And what about those of us that don't have cats? What would you call it then????????

I was thinking the same thing. I'd guess you'd call it "smarter no-cat"
