My Freakin Hood Just Flew Up On Me!!
IM DRIVIN ON THE HIGHWAY AN ALL THE SUDDPEN ...... BAM!!!!! I CANT SEE SHIT ! MY CAR IS MESSED UP! ROOFS ALL DENTED UP, THE COWL IN BTW HOOD AND WINDSHEILD IS ALL DENTED UP ! MY BRAND NEW STORMIN NORMIN HOOD IS WIPED OUT SOMEWHERE ON THE HIGHWAY !! AND MY WIDNSHEILD IS BUSTED ! did this ever happen to any of u guys, and how much did cost you for repairs ?

1990 Mustang GT Engine- 308 (bored .40 over) Probe Forged pistons (10.5:1), Scat forged crank and rods, w/Main Girdle, AFR 185 heads, GT-40 intake, CSI electric water pump. AC delete kit, No smog pump, Manual rack and pinion steering. Ignition- MSD 6AL, MSD Blaster coil, MSD hellicore wires. Drive Train- Tremic 3550, Alum. Drive shaft, 3:73 gears, Stock carrier and axels. 26X11.5 M/T Et streets. Power adder- 175 shot of laughing gas. Best ET 11.5 @120mph on squeeze, 12.4 @109mph on muscle (on gt40 heads) on the 185 heads ... ??? tba |

D*mn, that sucks pretty bad. Did you have hood pins? I probably would've been so pissed at the time I would have just wrecked the car off the road. Just kidding, I would be pissed though. What brand hood was it / any pics of the damage?

Also, I've never had that much damage happen to my occur (knock on wood) but I did wake up one morning to go to starbucks. After I got my coffee I went to set it on the roof of my car to unlock the door and realized someone threw a large brick or rock and dented right above the window on the roofs corner. I wish it would have just went through the window like it was probably supposed to

My hood flew up, smashed the cowl pannel, dinted the roof, wrecked the hood and some other crap. The damage was at over $2400, luckely my insurance paid for everything.
