i think that IQ test are fairly good measures of intelligence, but i wouldn't put much faith in one like this, i doubt it is very valid. what you guys are seeing with the high scores is the upward skew of this particular test. intelligence test scores will vary greatly from test to test, so the best way to measure intelligence is by percentage rank, rather than raw score. that is why mensa accepts different scores for various test, as their standard is the top 2% of the population (http://www.us.mensa.org/join_mensa/testscores.php3). i would say the most valid IQ test is the WAIS, so if you really want to know how "smart" you are, take that or another test administered by a psychologist. IQ tests, generally, measure fluid (innate) intelligence, but not crystallized (learned). as people age (60+) they begin to loose fluid intelligence, but make up for it in crystalized intelligence. i scored a 150, btw.
