It's alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Got the car started up tonight and it sounds bad a$$.
I did not think it would rev as fast but it revs A LOT faster than the 302 did. I still have a few things to work out but it is in and running. The long tube headers I used are off a sn-95 and needed the mini starter to clear the headers and I also found out that I have to get different mounts (convertible motor mounts) because the headers sit against the steering shaft and the convertible mounts sit higher than the mounts in my car. Also I have to get the car to start with the key and have to wire the neutral safety switch. I also have to get the speedometer to work. I got upper and lower battle boxes and have to put them in also. Man this things going to fly, I am so excited. http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif 347 stroker with race ported canfield heads, Vic jr. intake, and a 750 double pumper carburetor, Ultra light I-beam rods, ultra light pistons, and lightened crank. Long tube headers, 3" x-pipe, and 3" 1 chamber flowmasters with turndowns. |
Hey sounds like a bonafide badass ride. Maybe you should put up some sound clips, and let everyone hear your roarin engine.
