Thumbs up Just finished the AOD to T-5 swap in my 90 GT!!!!!!!!

Just finished the AOD to T-5 swap in my 90 GT, and i love it. It took me a little while because i was having to work only after work and on weekends. If any of you guys are thinking about doing the swap I would definately recommend it. If you have any questions just ask.

I'm going to be doing the swap soon and I won't have a donor car to get parts from. If you could post a list of the all the parts you needed for the swap, I'm sure lots of ppl (mostly me) would be very greatful.

I did a t-5 swap in my car. My car went through two AOD's with in sixty thousand miles. Did you make sure you changed the computer? Did you use a regular t-5 or something better? Very cool. How did you hook up the speedometer.

I've got a few T5 parts left over from when I went the other way. I've got a stock flywheel that's in good shape, plus a FRPP Heavy Duty clutch/pressure plate combo thats got better than 95% of its life left in it.

Email me if you're interested in them.

GRANT66, Just to make sure we are not confusing anyone, you do not have to change the computer for the swap. I to have just about completed the swap in my GT. The clutch assembly wasn't as bad as I thought it was, gents, if you plan on changing the quadrant this is the time to do it! I went with BBK's aluminum quadrant and adjustable cable.
