The person here MUST be a chevy fan.
No Ford person in their right mind would paint their mustang like a Gran Sport Corvette!!!

I have a picture of a 65 fastback, its blue with the two white racing strips and its got the vette ones on the fenders IN PINK. Its hidieous. I wish I could post a pic of it. It looks good other that the two PINK stripes.

I see the resemblence, but I don't think it looks bad! Also, the Corvette is a very respectable sports car, so I really don't see the issue . I know the litlte red stripes are a total copycat move, but the racing stripe itself is pretty common.

I see what your saying but I've seen alot worse. I agree with Belle it doesn't look to bad, and Corvettes are a respectful cars. I got my stang I'm working on getting my dads vette. Maybe I'll just paint mine like his. lol His is a '73 I'll post some pics later this weekend if you guys want. Gotta get some pics on my car up too.

Its not bad, but special paint schemes should be only on the car they were originally on or at least on a car in the same car company. To be more interestng I seen a cavalier that had the same paint scheme as the corvette on it and it looked good.

I think this guy was probably modeling it after the paint scheme on some of the old Shelby Cobra's
like this one but maybe not

The GT350 we have here at the shop, has the stripe just like that and it is WAAAAAY BAAAAD. It is original. It is a '67
