Geoff,

Welcome to the board. We've always welcomed a wide variety of people on the boards. It helps to add a bit of diversity of opinion on different things. There's a large wealth of guys who know what they're doing on this board who may be able to help out or give insight if needed, and the moderators do a great job of keeping things in check. No flame wars here and we like it that way.

Anyway, like I said, welcome.

Oh, and by the way, nice dogs. We've got a 3 year old fawn pug. Absolutely great dogs.

Hey thanks for the warm welcome guys! Yea its rare to criss cross message boards without encountering a ****** or two but thats par for the course. Ive said it before on fbody boards and Ill say it again here.....bigtime kudos to FoMoCo for even keeping a RWD V8 in the line up thats still affordable. GM has officially lost my future business now that Spittin Chickens wont be available anymore. Im just happy that I was able to get a last year 02 WS6 and I can lay tracks everywhere I go! http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif BTW...about the pugs...yea they are awesome doggies. I took one in for spade this morning and will be picking her up tomorrow. Here they are in all their glory!

I tell yah, I may have to move to australia for the rwd v8s they have down there. Who knows why the NA market can't seem to support a muscle car anymore.

Rev 11-08-2001 08:40 PM

What we have to do is what the Mexican cab drivers do. Just keep the RWD's going for 30 years or more. After that some of us won't know and the rest of us won't care maybe.

Hey Bad, it wasn't a name brand was it that was available for the LS1? Wasn't it an off brand that wasn't well known? Not a Vortech or Paxton? The Vortech should be a godsend for the LS1.

Hey Geoff.

Been meaning to give my greetings, but kept forgeting to.

Glad to see a cool, friendly LS-1 driver. To tell you the truth (I might get flogged for this) if there wasnt such a thing as a Mustang I'd be driving a RED 6spd WS-6. There sweet cars. I think the second best looking new car there is.

Geoff, dont get rid of the WS6! dont get the Bullitt, its not worth the money they are asking for. great car, great looks, somewhat powerful, but KEEP your WS6!! oh, and whats the deal with the PUGS? it looks like someone hit those dogs in the face with a baseball bat! hey, if you like'em, then thats all that matters.

Welcome to the board Geoff. Those are some killer little dogs you got there. Not sure 'bout the car though http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/wink.gif Just kidding. If I had my choice of a GM product it would be a T/A. I really love the looks of them. I don't know how Chevy could make the Camaro look so much like a Channel Catfish with the T/A looking so d@mn mean, but oh well, I'm a Ford guy anyway so what do I know. Get us some track times!

I agree 2fast....I have never been a Camaro guy....I grew up in Birds and thats all I will buy. Even if they bring back bigger and better Camaros in 2005 or whatever I would still probably stray over to FoMoCo for my next musclecar. No offense to the Maro guys...some probably feel the same towards Birds. Dark Knight..z28s are kinda stripper versions of SS's. They have the V8 and can be optioned nicely but dont have the upgrades that the SS does. SS has better exhaust, a lame excuse for cold air induction ( the WS6 cold air isnt much better ) and beefier suspension and tires. You see, srv1...the pugs like to chase down the local Stangs...and one day they chased one down so quickly that they ran into the dudes bumper and left 2 pug face imprints http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif J/K
