I'm sorry to hear about your hard times.
Is there any legal action you can take? I know here in Texas, if they did that to you, you can sue the crap out of the employer and bank some money. Some lazy @ss chick in my department that does her job less then 1/2 @ss "fell" out of a chair and hurt herself. She got full pay for the 6+ months while she was out. I personally think they should fire her @ss just because she's incompentent! Ok, I'm off my soap box.
