At last! The Lightning is fixed!
Well, for all of those members that were around back when I had the lady bash my passenger door (on purpose) and then the valet at the parking garage where I worked bash my from ground effect, I thought I'd give everyone an update. Last week I took the beast to a Ford dealer's body shop and I finally got everything fixed. It's now back to it's beautiful, prime condition... Man, it looks good again!
I'll have to snap and post a picture tomorrow perhaps...

Dan, good to hear the Lightning is looking good again. Too bad we can't say the same for Marty.

Wow, Dan, that was a long time ago. I almost forgot about it, have you ever "repaid" that "lady" for her gift to you??
Good to hear it's all good to go now!

Besides, I probably look more like a Petty than a Gordon. Heck, I've got grease under my fingernails right now. The bosses love that.

Yes, it definitely took me a while to get around to getting it all fixed up. But, now it's all set. Here's some shots I snapped today:
The door repaired: The ground effect repaired: A nice angled photo of the truck:

Better late than never
Dan:
The beast looks, well, sweet. What took you so long? I couldn't stand riding around in a near-new, otherwise pristine Lightning with body damage on it. You're a patient guy. Glad it's all better now. |

Very nice Dan. The Avatar is cool too. I'm sure I'd have noticed it eventually.
Edit - I just noticed you did a little more work than you mentioned. Wonder how long it will take other people to notice that too?
