I used to have a cable modem but when we moved last winter, I had to go back to dial-up. I would love to have that cable modem back. It was nice being able to visit 4-5 sites at a time.

I don't know what I'd do if I had to go back to dial up. I was at my buddies house the other day, and I was trying to show him some pictures in a thread on MW, and his 56k took sooooooo long, I just lost interest. I don't see how people do it.

Take care,
-Chris

When it is all you have and you really, really want to visit mustangworks you do it. But this cable modem stuff rocks.

PS PKRWUD I have a question in Windsor Power I would greatly appreciate your counsel on!

Smile Internet access

Dial-up is bearable when you've never had anything else or, like many, can't get anything else.

Once you've had cable it's gotta be tough to go backwards but I have to admit that if it were dial-up - or nothing - I would certainly take dial-up over no internet at all. Most do.

I just got back home from vacation today and back to my cable modem, yeah!! I was having to use dial up from my hotel room to check my mail and it just seemed to take forever. But at least I was able to take a peek at the boards while I was away. C-ya

I got cable like 3 years ago I can't stand nothing less. I guess if I had to but even still I'd probably kill myself. I have T1 goverment lines at work, it flies when I'm at work, I can't even complain about home. I love It.

Sam.
