life just sux sometimes!!!!!
bought a set of headlight cover's for my 95 gt, phantom's they look great, not rice at all, well, went to put them on the driver's side went right on, the pass. side went on, but the bottom popped back off, i pushed on it to put it back, cracked it right up the middle, i give up. :eek: :mad: :mad: :( :D :D :D , anyone know of something to fix a crack in plastic, clear that wont leave a hazey film???, help.!!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure of anything that would fix the crack, and be invisable. I think your SOL. Superglue may work ok.
Heck just put a big azz UT sticker over it and call it a day, LOL |
I wouldnt recommend superglue, CA tends to fog clear plastics, especially polystyrene (doubt thats what the covers are tho more likely a poly/vinyl type mix. )
I would get a bottle of liquid modelers cement, not as strong as some of the gels but will get into the cracks better. I cant recall the one brand I just started using (my modeling stuffs in storage) but I would imagine regular testors liquid would work. Hope this helps. J |
yeh model glue would work but won't be that strong, if your gonna use super glue be careful you could glue the cover to your hand:D :D :D

Duct tape.
Marty I think you are sol. Anything you do will look like crap, especially at night. Try the old it was broke when I took it out of the box. |
