Yeah, those cast iron manifolds are worth between $600-$1000 last time I checked. I plan to put the engine into an late 60's Cougar, or a 69 Mustang. If I do, the manifolds will have to go. They just don't fit in the engine compartment. As you can tell from the photo's, that's a loooong ways off.
I'm not sure I'll be able to run the heads either. At 11.1:1 compression, they were best suited to leaded only, super premium gas when it was availible. Octane booster, and lead additive will need to be in the gas to avoid detonation I think.
