I kinda figured that the oil pump shaft wasn't supposed to look that way. Wonder what happened?
Anyway, the only reason I can think of for making th einput shaft that much longer was to move the engine forward. I know my chances of being wrong are much like that snowball everybody keeps referring to, but that's what it looks like to me.
Unit, have you ever driven a 427? If not, then when you get it back together and running, just go ahead and start smiling, cause you won't stop for a very loooooonnnnggg time. I need a big block. wanna trade your 427 for a 351 with a S-trim?
