Log-in Aggravation!!! >:(

OK...WTF????
Ever since I had to get a new password, I now have to LOG IN everytime I bring up MW....Usta be that I could bring it out of my Favorites, and I"d ALLREADY be logged in automatically! I have "log in automatically" checked!
As much as my computer crashes in one night, i find myself having to "log-in" a half dozen times or more a night!!!!!
I think I have the right thingies checked in my user control panel. Do I want to be 'with' cookies, or 'without'. I thought it was with?????? ugggggggggggggg

Christine! Settle down, girl. :p ;) :D

I don't know what to tell you.... You want to be with cookies and make sure the box is clicked for log in automatically. Just look through everything again and make sure it's all correct, then I'd either make a post in the Site Feedback Forum or email Dan....

Good luck!

are you still on that crapaq? What you need is a custom built computer with XP like mine.... ;) ;) :D

jj_jonathon 10-10-2002 01:32 AM

be one with the cookies....

breathe in, breathe out...
breathe in, breathe out...

now you may proceed by kicking the shizzle out of your computer!

LOL....

you know why I say that... ;)

What I would try: Go to start, settings, control panel, internet options. Then delete temp files and cookies. Try that. If this is XP it will be a bit diff. PM and I'll send you more detailed instructions if you need them.

OR, Just log into the forums... Then, click the "log out" button at the button of the page once you do. That will delete your cookies for this site (or, I think it does). Then log back in again and it should resave new cookie entries for your account. If all else fails, do what he said, delete ALL cookies in your internet options and then log in.

Well, I was beaten to it, but I was going to say just delete the MW cookie, that way not all your cookies are gone.

I've never heard truer (sp?) words spoken. I used to have a Compaq...then it crashed one too many times and got a few swift kicks in the side.

BACK IN BUZNES......I THINK!

K...THANKS YA'LL....
Well, I deleted all my cookies and files...and I think it worked. At least I got on here and did not have to 'log in'.
AND YA...Im STILL on the Crapaque! Im getting access to a Windows Disk on Sunday...hopefully when I reinstall it, I will not blue screen 20,000 times a day and crash every few minutes...
This PC sucks BAD...but I just dont have the funds for a new one. So, HOPEFULLY, after I reinstall my Windows..(cuz I'm missing part of mine!! all will be better in cyberland!)
Thanks ya'll for your input, I must go now for a minute to remove my FOOT from my Tower!
