I've heard of a harness that plugs into the o2 sensors and it extends the wires for you. But I'm told its rather expensive. The simplest and cheapest way is to splice longer wires into the existing o2 sensor wires (do this one at a time to avoid mixing up which one is which). Use good wire and make sure to wrap all your connections and tie them so they don't contact the exhaust. I've had that work for over 2 years now. Hope that helps.

Thumbs up

Go here: http://www.autozone.com/Catalog/catalog.html and scroll down and click on "Emission Control (Engine Management)". They have Bosch oxygen sensor's that have a 13" wire. They also have some with a 16 1/2" wire on them. They say the stock ones are 8 1/2".

You can pass emissions tests with long tube headers?? 5.0 Magazine had a article on long tubes v. shorties and they said they weren't street legal on poluttion controlled vehicles.

The stock wires will work. You have to pull them out of the plastic loom and route the individually over the back of the trans. It will work, I have done it twice on two other cars I have owned

Get the extension harness! I feel it is the best way to go. Splicing can lead to problems. With the extensions you have room to route your wires where you want and helps to clean up the underside of you car
