I was wondering how SRV got a picture of you...

Not only is SRV one of this sites more intelligent members, he's also quite crafty.
:) Take care, -Chris |
You know I like them. Didn't you go to the same concert in Ga. Jeremy? I know you had a great time. Miss Ya Grandma!!!!!!:D
|
Marty: that band wouldn't be called 'Free' would it?
Christine: It's nice to see you with us again.. we missed you!!:) Chris: I thought that looked alot like that drivers license pic, so that is you? |
im telling ya, he looks like one of those Skynyrd boys! haha! crafty? i wouldnt give myself that much credit! thanks!
Christine, check your messages |
One of my favorite bands. I just don't like much of the stuff after Ronnie Van Zant passed away :(. Most people just know "Free Bird" and "Sweet Home Alabama" but almost all of their songs are beautiful :)
"I Need You" is one of the few songs that actually touches me; classic rock has a certain passion that mainstream rock doesn't seem to have anymore. I've never been into the hippie **** (which, at least in high school, seemed to be a prereq for listening to the stuff  ) and I think its funny that many teenagers say that it sucks...gee, its not like contemporary rock has its roots there or anything!! Sheeeeeeeeet dawg, you KNOWS I'd rather bees listenin' to some phat Nelly ****, yo :D Long live southern/classic rock!!!! |
Tuesday's Gone will probably always be my favorite, but there are reasons.
Take care, -Chris |

Little bro, Tuesday's Gone is a soul song to some of us...:)
I personally have a special place for Bob Segar's "Jody Girl". |

Hey Marty, did you know that he tried to make his stage name Bob Cigar and they changed it to Bob Seger because it would sell better...

Marty, I have an issue with John Cougar Mellencamp but like most of his music.. I certainly wouldn't group him and Bob Seger and the Silver Bullit Band with Prince(or whatever his symbol is).
|
I respect what Mellencamp does, and has to say, but his music doesn't really do anything for me. Seger, on the otherhand, has a very deep, rich soul. I could, and do, listen to him all the time.
