Just make sure you sober up when you race me. You will need every advantagfe you can get. What kinda crack are you smokin' tonite? You said it was a joke then you get serious bout things. I raced my best friend, Thad, the other night comin back from Moroso in his bad *** '90 LX. He kicked my *** once he stopped spinning! His car sounds reall sweet blowin by ya at full throttle! Yeah I'm jealous, but I can take him on one wheel with the Ninja! :) ;)

It's always fun messin with friends, they're much more fun races, even if ya lose! :)

Thad used to have a '91 firebird that I used to stomp on with the Mustang so I guess his time has come to kick my ***!

Hey marty i arrive in Los angeles on Jan 7th at 855 am. It is the the same time i leave the airport in korea. so the flight will take only like 30 seconds he he he. I know u two where just messing around. But if old brian ther is scared of a kid with an old big block. :D then birng it on!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is nothing in this world like showing up to cruise night in a 428 cobra jet i can promise u that.

yes 69fastback those 428cj's rule i could kick myself in the as- i had the chance to buy a 69 torino cj for 800.00 it was cherry & a 4-speed aaahhh when i decide to go get it the guy had sold it for 500.00 bucks i was sick,oh well thats life see ya :rolleyes:

What kinda times you running? Those big blocks are awsome man. Had a 4x4 with a 428 in it and raced it every weekend in the mud bogs. I called her rust bucket. She was ugly but bad as hel!. So to answer ya, bring it on...always love a good race.:p

If he has some good tires and it's running good he probably sees low 13s...that is, if it's stock...what's it got done to it man?

It is not even close to being stock. I can't even remeber all the mods that I have done to it. The only thing on it that is stock is the block. It has all the little goodies u can imagine. forged aluminum rods and pistons C and A rings, compression is 10.06 lowered ti form the stock 10.6 for gas purposes. The cam is 519 lift and 284intake 300exhaust. So it is fairly bigger than a stock cj cam. I have the edelbrock aluminum intake. Right now i am running a 750 cfm carb but i am going to buy an 850 cfm just have not decied what kind to get yet. The motor has lots of other little goodies too stuff like 7qrt oil pan windage tray stuff like that. All the ignition is MSD distributer, wires,6al, balset coil. Hooker super comp headers. Custome made 3 inch exhuast. I have drag shocks and springs. 5 1/2 leafs in the back, subframes things like taht. 3500 stall to a art carr c-6 with manule valve body. with 4:30 gears and detroit locker in the 9". There is a bunch more stuff that i cant rember.

As far as the times it runs well i really have no clue. I haven't had the time in the last 2 years to take it. It did run a low 13 in second gear leaving at idle this was before half the mods i mentioned. That run was made in second gear the whole way down the track. that was before i joined the army and didn't have half the mods the car does now. So i really have no clue of how fast it really is.
