Hell, I suck big time, if she's cute. It's her personality, or rather her personalities, that drive me crazy. Who am I talking about? Every woman I've ever met. Know what? Every guy is like that too. The trick is to get your personality extremes to compliment each other rather than hurt each other.

Either that or take up needlepoint. It's up to you.

I have learned to just listen and sometimes thats hard. But if I let Marty go and do his thing he seems to be able to cool off faster, then we have a good evening. I know all men are not this way, and I have to agree with Christine, she has a lot of good points. And you have to let your guy know what you are feeling about his bi*ching too. Sometime they don't even realize it if they have had a really bad day. Hang in there its got to get better. Odie:cool:

Sorry to here about your troubles Karen.
I can go on for ever explaining what I've learned from my last relationship... all I can say is, if your in a relationship your not happy with, and it's not working and your partner refuses to work things out, get out of it. If things don't work after 1 month or acouple months or even a year, then don't try to make them last a lifetime. But I don't think a fair comment is guys suck, or really any guys suck. Every person is different, and carry a different personality, you just need to find the person that matches what you are looking for. That is the hunt for love.

Another note....
I heard that guys can get what is the equivelent to PMS in woman, it's called IMS. lol It works basiclly the same way, it causes guys to react the same way woman do. But it's not as common, and I don't believe they go into the complete mood swings like woman. Something I've learned never ask a girl with PMS if they have PMS. Unless your ready to run and not come back. lol

Why would guys want to talk. The few times I've tried to help girls with their problems they end up not talking to me as much. Jon says he shares his feelings and gets called gay. We're taught not to talk. I see no benefits but all kinds of negatives associated with it. I tried to, didn't work out, so I think I'll stick with the norm(as far as everyone is concerned).

I think you are hanging around the wrong men. Most guys I know wouldn't get pissed at their girlfriend/wife if they had a bad day. Guys like that are morons, but the best thing to do as was said before is to give quiet time. If I want to talk about it, I'll talk about it. If not, then I'd rather watch TV or something. (Go on MW for example)

Karen, all men aren't cowards. Seems like you need to move on. If this one guy is going to treat you like crap, you are smart enough to move on. Yeah everyone has a bad day and they take it out on someone they care about, but their is definetly limits. From what i read, this dude surpassed that limit some time ago. Maybe you should be by yourself for awhile or find someone who you can relate with not debate with. From your words on this message board, you don't strike me as uneducated individual. You have the smarts and instinct, so use them. Drop this guy like a bad habit. Their is no need to be a welcome mat for your feelings.
