Mil Eliminators...?
Does anyone know what they really do? I have heard a couple different things: Do they only remove the 'check engine' sign because I have also heard that they trick the computers when you get you emissions test. The thing is, I am looking at getting a Bassani x-pipe without cats but I don't wanna make sure that my car will pass the strict Harris County (Houston) inspections. Thanks in advance!

Get your car tested without then then after you pass put them on. :D Although I havn't heard of Mil Eliminators so I can't help you there sorry. Glad my car doesn't have to be tested.

Why didn't you post this over in Modular Madness?
MIL Eliminators send the expected signal back to the car's computer so the check engine light won't come on. It won't do anything for emissions. If you live in an emission controlled area, I'd highly advise going with high flow cats.... I mean, is 2-3 rwhp REALLY worth the trouble? |
