Modding 4.6 Stang

Hey Guys,
I just bought a 1996 Mustang GT Convertible and I am looking into modifying it a bit, maybe getting into the 400HP Area, but I dont know much about performance parts for this car...any suggestions? Thx!

To get to 400, you will need a big budget and at the very least:

99 PI heads/intake/cams
Some sort of supercharger, preferably with intercooler
A good tune

Those 3 might get you to 400, but I'd go ahead and do beefier internals and exhaust too. Internals and Longtube headers when the engine is apart, an offroad Hpipe, and flowmasters. That'll be quite a sick stang for sure. Good luck to you.

I suggest you look at Hammer's combination. He's at ~450HP at the crank or 390HP at the wheels. That sould like were you want to be. I suggest a similar post in the Modular Madness Forum.
