Got a question for everyone. A friend of a friend is selling his 92'LX hatchback. I was in the shop the day the,as everyone called it that day,"orange monster" was put on the dyno. They tested it twice,the first run produced 609 horses,the second run produced 621 horses. I thought some of those people in the shop were going to shite seeing the horses that car was putting out. Under the hood was a bored and stroked 347 with twin superchargers and an aftercooler. They had to keep putting ice in the aftercooler before each test. The car was so loud,some people were watching the tests from outside. The owner is selling the car for about 10,500, my question is that price, too high/too low/just right for that much car? One other note, the car's owner said he ran the car at Rockingham's dragway,and had consist runs in the mid to low 10's. He had the print out the dragway gave him to back up his claims. His best run,according to the print out,was 9.86 sec. Any responses would of great help. Later.

How's the body? As long as it doesn't look like a horrible heap, then It's a great deal. many pay 4500-6000 for a stock mustang then over $6,000 just to get it in the tens. I think it's a deal, a Lamborghini goes for 20X the price of the car you want to buy!

you have to decide how much all the hi po stuff is worth... and just because the guy spent 10 grand on it don't mean you'll get 10 grand worth on the open market ?

(Tommy Ivo notwithstanding) __________________ 1986 four-eyed LX coupe, 358 Cleveland, Tremec TKO600/centerforce clutch, dish cut Probe forged pistons, comp cams hyd.roller cam, .579/.588@224/230, Edel.performer, 670 holley street avenger, CPR custom built long tubes, ported and polished 4bbl heads, manley valves, beehive springs, MSD peo-billet dist/MSD6AL, fluidamper, 5 lug conv. with 17x8 bullits there's more but it's still not finished yet. Oh, and the oldest boy is turning his 89 GT into a FFR cobra this next summer.
