My thoughts exactly. I would try a controlled stop, but if I'm in danger of being in an accident, the cat would get it. Even if it is the other persons fault, (ie: tailgating), I would hate to have a messed up back, neck, or whatever.

I'm sure you have seen the commercial on the TV for insurance with the two squirrels... One runs out in front of a car, you hear the car crash, and the squirrels give 'high fives', etc. If I were driving, no more squirrel.
