More stuff that pisses Hammer off...

List of things:
1. Baseball- Bunch of rich a-holes who play a ******* GAME for a living, and then complain that they need more money... Combine that and its about as exciting as Golf (*ugh*), and you have the reason I gave up on it in the mid 80s.

2. Terrorists- I would love to be in the Delta team member's mind when he lines up a bead on Osama's head through a night scope. (If it hasn't already happened)

3. People who can't speak English in jobs that require communication- I'm all for equality, but come on folks, if I can't understand the dude behind the mic at the drive through, and he can't understand me... How the hell can that be good for sales?

4. Fake Patriotism- Somehow EVERYONE is patriotic now after 9\11... What about those of us who actually flew flags in our lawns and driveways long BEFORE that?

5. Teenagers- How the hell do some of these spoiled, big-*** jean wearing idiots make it to adulthood? I swear, sometimes I gotta wonder how parents just don't wax them and hide the bodies in the basement.... They don't even make it to teenagehood anymore. Was in line at the grocery store last week and an 8 to 10 year old kid called his mom a ***** right in front of me.... and then, SHE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING! Hell, I just about exploded right then and there... Add to that all the rich 16 year old high school kids around here driving Jags, Mercedes, Vettes. Friend of mine has a 16 year old son that told him that it was his RIGHT to have a cell phone and rights to the family car. Pretty close to the time my neighbor's kid dropped their flag on the ground. His dad got pissed... His response: "what the hell is wrong with you? It's only a flag..."
This is our future folks... Between this crap and this teenage ricer crap, I think I'm going to just become a hermit......
Considering I just had a beautiful baby girl, you can bet your *** I will be involved with everything she does, and God help any teenage boy who drives a rice rocket pulling up into my driveway.... ;)

6. My final rant: Ricers...
Let me set it up for you:
Big car show... I get stuck next to this funky lookin dropped import thing...(all ID badges gone) with a wierd *** paint job, lots o'stickers, and an aluminum park bench wing. I think it was a Civic... Hood closed...

I've got my hood up.... the yellow bomber's lookin good... My car show sign is out. Four teenage kids make a beeline to the import... "Phat ride dude!" "How fast is it?" "Bet she runs 9s man..."
Owner: "Naa... Its a SHOW car nothing under the hood.... it isn't even clean..."

What the hell? A "show" car that not only is stock under the hood, but isn't even clean?

Kids: "Dude this car rocks"

Meanwhile there is a bona-fide street-tired 12 second Mustang right next to them.

Later on the import guy starts making his car literally JUMP in between my car and a guy with a blown Shelby GT 350. I mean this thing was going high... and the rear wheels were starting to move. Me and the Shelby guy "politely" ask him to knock that crap off.... I don't care if you want your car to do cartwheels, but don't do it 4 feet from mine.....

ugh....

95mustanggt 10-05-2002 12:33 AM

(7?) What about Canadians that always drag you and your wife to Country Junction? LOL, I so miss that place.

KiltedBanshees93GT 10-05-2002 12:42 AM

Ye flipping gods, how sad.
I saw something similar at work a couple of months ago. Done for the night, me and another guy on my team were leaving, and as we waited to cross the street in front of the store this cuy came crusing by in a 92-93 LX hatch w/ Cobra emblems. Nice looking, well taken care of and not stock. Sounded like a good aftermarket exaust and a medium cam with a nice lope. He blipped the throttle as he passed, and as I am thinking "nice car" these 2 12-13 kids in front of us start talking smack,
#1 "Hey, why dont you get that thing tuned up"
#2 "Yeah, sounds like crap" (or something similar, I dont remember his exact words)
I wanted to grab them and tell them that despite what Sport Compact Magizine has told them a blender with gas is NOT the sound of true performance!
Sometimes I think that a lot of true ricers would most likely wet themselves if they ever heard a real musclecar up close and personal. (And I have seen posts where some of our more *ahem* modified members about got that reaction, LOL)

Crazy Horse GT 10-05-2002 01:30 AM

i think one of our newest members:rolleyes: , needs to read this, yes you know who you are, i dont have to say it.  lol.:D troll.

1969Mach1 10-05-2002 01:56 AM

Marty I agree... lol he ain't going to like it...
lol Hammer I'm a teenager (17, turning 18 in like 8 days) and I agree with you all the way. Don't worry there is some hope left for the future. lol :D Couldn't agree more about people with good english skills, you should see one of my teachers at school. She can't even speak english, how the ****** am I to learn when she can't speak english. I flipped out the first day when we couldn't understand each other, and I just left. These young kids are extreamly stupid when it comes to cars. I get asked a million times by ricers to do burnouts, I'm usually tell them no cause I don't feel like a ticket and buying a new set of tires and tell there ricer friends to do a burnout. Some *** gave me an excuse once that his friend's delsol had like $1500 tires and wasn't going to do it. Maybe he forgot the fact that it's fwd and probably wal-mart tires cause there was no $1500 tires on it. It was the same guy that told me Mustangs suck and it was a peice of **** cause if I reved it up the front end kind motioned back and forth. You know like when you have power. These ricers piss the hell out of me off. 1 Great thing about Canada they park there POS's usually for winter.

Ohh.. and as for young kids swearing at there mothers, I have a 12 year old brother and he is starting to get this thug attitude as soon as he says something to my mom he gets a good beating on my behalf. He hasn't called her a *****, but one comment that pushes his luck and he knows he's in for it.

§am.

Crazy Horse GT 10-05-2002 02:08 AM

sam, not all young people are tool's, well maybe you, lol j/k, but like hammer said, the baggy- down over their lower face pant's wearing, upside down visor wearing, bling, bling king's, suck, my nephew asked me to work on his 66 stang, i went over. there he was pant's halfway down his a--, backwards hat, i sai -no h--- no, not till you pull your pants up, turn your cap around right. :D :D :D

I knew you were a good kid....er...young man :D

Next time he's disrespectful to you mom throw an extra one in for me :D

SMOKE 10-05-2002 08:50 AM

Hammer's rant is merely a sign of the times.

But I really had to comment on the fake patriotism.
Serving as I do it's painfully obvious that prior to 9/11 service men and women were woefully unappreciated, let alone the civil force who protects life and property.
So I agree, someof us didn't have to go buy a bunch of flags, just looked at the ones we already owned.

1969Mach1 10-05-2002 08:55 AM

lol you guys are to funny... lol :D :D :D Well I don't see how they dress making a difference, more the less there attitude changing things. Style's are constatly changing..... Like Marty if you had your mullet or pony tail (WHATEVER YOU CALL IT!) back in the '70's I would of left you alone but common man, get with the times. lol I don't wear jeans where the waste is half-way down my ***, but they arn't skin tight jeans either. And don't worry Cam I'll give him a few extra for everyone.. lol We'll have to get together next summer I guess, then ya can see I'm not some thug'd out kid. lol

its about time someone recognized that! since the 911 i never bought a flag or even put a stupid sticker on my car! heck before that i never did either. now it seems all the people come out of the woodwork and have that crap all over their cars saying "we won't forget". of course you wont forget you dumbass!

i dont want to hear about they only want to "show their patriotism" and "whats wrong with that?" lines. where were they before 911? i didnt see any of them bragging "good ole' USA"!

makes me sick.....
Its like a fad! Then all these companies making this crap benefit off it and they arent even American companies and people buy it and put it on their cars! How unamerican is that? Posers.....

this is not cbring 10-05-2002 10:05 AM

i guess i'm the troll...LOL

sounds like a decent list though it is hard to become an adult without being a teen.........

here is my rant:

-people who are middle and lower class and are anti-union.....i suppose they don't like reasonable work hours, comparable wages, health care and benefits, sick leave, and paid vacation and holidays..........i see no benefit at all for them being anti-union, i guess they feel sorry for the business owners who don't have real ivory trim on their lear jets
-also voters buy into propaganda and who vote according to a supposed stance concerning gun-control and scrapping old cars.....as opposed to issues like education, health care, and the economy

srv1 10-05-2002 12:04 PM

who here agrees with me that politician=crook? not all, but most.

MidNiteBlu 5.0 10-05-2002 05:22 PM

IM NOT A BAD TEENANAGER! lol. But I know most alot of them out there are. i can always remember auto shop with me and my friend with a '70 El Camino SS working on our cars and having the ricer brigade come over. Then comes all the shittalking but we always won :D

I am still wondering how this whole rice movement started anyways. it wasnt TFATF because that movie was made because of the rice (it just made it worse though  )

Later,
Nick

polara7777 10-05-2002 07:05 PM

OK some of you may or may not have guessed this by now but I know most of you know me well enough, I wear baggy jeans that don't sit at my waist, normally wife beaters maybe an unbuttoned shirt over it, usually a hat turned backwards, I'm tatooed, and I walk like a thug. Does that make me like these idiot kids? Hell no! I'm as much a mature adult as most of the people on here. Do I wear the clothes I do because everyone else does? No. I did at first and they were comfortable so I continue to wear them and prolly will even after it's out of style. Unfortunatly it seems that everyone judges a book by it's cover. I don't know how many mothers avoid me in the mall or how many fathers have looked down on me at first when their daughters brought me home. As soon as someone gets to know me though it's all good. Parents love me because I'm responsible with their children and will talk with the parents as much as I will the children. Although I guess you could say I cheat. :D I keep up with current events and am, according to every test I have ever taken, above average intelligence, find a common interest with anyone, it doesn't matter whom, and you will have no problem gaining their trust and friendship. Anyways this is my rant. Sorry so long and thanks for listening.

1bad232 10-05-2002 07:47 PM

Hey all!!! Its wierd because I feel like I know you all, I have read for like 4 months and not said anything lol I used to have an account SilverStang01. Well I'm back, and hope to bring as much as possible to the site!!! BTW I am only 19 and def. not some punkassricer kid....

jj_jonathon 10-05-2002 08:08 PM

im prolly a little more preppy than anything, i stopped the crappy big tshirt and jncos during junior year and started wearing abercrombie, A&E, etc senior year...i was smart while I wore that crpa before, but I kinda got older and saw how stupid some of it made me seem...lol...

polara7777 10-05-2002 10:08 PM

A stupid prep!?!? heh Just kiddin! I don't think anyone wears an upside down visor on this site at least.

0h n0 5.0 10-07-2002 02:26 PM

yea i don't know, people change as they grow up, get new hobbies, friends, interests,... enviromnet plays a huge part in it also.

i hate: parking cops, the university where I go, has bad parking probs(because HELLO! its a university set in the middle of downtown metropolitian Birmingham and rather than aknowledge its continued status as a major commuter campus, the university has tried to no avail to make it into a traditional campus resulting in gridlock, no parking, no bus routes that travel the campus, an las but not least, we have jerk ***** senile old men writing tickets because we "create" parkin spot( up on grass, double parked, parking on the sides of roads...)

now, call me nutty, but i don't beleive they have the right to charge a fine for some service they don't provide enough of to begin with. let alone when the cost for a permit is $75 a year!!! for that kind of skratch i better be guranteed a damn spot!!

I hate:
people who drive with no insurance. you hit me an your broke arse ain't got insurance, i'm gonna take it out of your face.

tailgaters: on freeways get out of my exhaust pipes, theres a reason i'm not goin. faster and its not because i like pissin you off

lines: if everyone pushes harder, we'll get what we need a whole lot faster :D

mosh heads: these jerks ruin concerts even if its nothin to mosh to, jus the fact the'yre all closet homosexuals an like bumping into other meatheaded sweaty guys. an create chaos at outdoor events.

drunks: if ya can't control your drinking/emotions, stay home

i've got more..

Kamaro Killer 10-07-2002 07:24 PM

I have to agree with..

everything you just said 0h n0 5.0. I was reading and thinking the same things bother me. More things that bother me are:

People who judge you based on looks, religion, age, or knowledge

People who can't seem to get along with ANYONE, they must always have conflict

Riced out cars

People who assume, instead of asking

Closed minded people (except people who hate ricers ;) )

Older people who think young people are a lost cause, they're parents thought the same about them (remember the 60's & 70's)

There's probably more, but I'd be here all day typing if I wrote more.

lmao... all your points were pretty funny and true including the alchole. You think $75 is alot for a permit to park. It is around $600-$1200 a year to park here!! We're just out outskirt of Toronto and there is alot of room, but they charge that much. It's BS. I just go and park in a parking lot that your supposed to pay but I said ****** that give me a ticket if you want. I've gone like 3 weeks without a ticket so I'm hoping I can keep this up all year.

Lots piss me off, mostly people who stay in the passing lane and go the speed limit. I usually pass them get infront of them slow right now wait tell they change lanes and take off.

I'm not even going into things that piss me off cause I'll just be angry for the day and I'm in a good mood so when someone pisses you off, just punch them in the face. :D :D :D

HA, I wish mine were that. Our permits are $400/year, and we don't even get to drive until we have sophomore hours. That = crap. Plus, the parking Nazis down here are the BIGGEST PAIN. I got a $40 parking ticket for bringing my laundry up to my room. Took less than 2 min...

James-
Well, you don't know me that well, and I hope you won't think that same logic applies to me when I get my commemorative 9/11/01 license plates. I have always been patriotic. Very patriotic. I'm the only guy on my block that has flown both an American flag and a POW-MIA flag at every appropriate holiday for more than 15 years now. In fact, I also am an annual contributor to the fund for maintaining the local Veterans Memorial.

I agree that the yahoo's that seemed to come out of the woodwork are a joke, but not all the people that seem patriotic these days are like that. Some of us have always been proud, patriotic Americans.

As a footnote to those of you who still have the right to vote, but don't, well, you should be ashamed of yourselves. I would give anything to have that right again, and hopefully, in just over 4 years, I will.

Take care,
~Chris
