Moving to Iowa!

I just went out to Iowa for a week and decided I'm done in Columbus, OH (actually Westerville). It way cheaper for a house and not many people or even Cops to be bothered with. It'll be between Peterson and Spencer probably, I'll be going out by myself (and my dog Gunner) until november/december until my girlfriend graduates columbus state. Hppefully I'll be able to save up some money to buy a house and actually be able to buy parts for my car. Anyway, just figured I'd see if anyones been to or lives in northern Iowa and what you think about it. I'd like to see where the closest Dragstrip is, there's a dirt track nearby and Lake Okoboji is about 1hr north so I'll have something to do until I can eventually buy a 4wheeler.

Oh yeah, let me know if anyone can recommend good auto places like machine shops/parts stores/autobody supplies/etc. I'll probably end up buying a lot online.
