Does this moron have ANY idea what he's talking about?
And did you check out his name? "Royal Ford". It scares me to think a Ford owner really believes the crap I heard in that article. In his view, a civic with an exhaust, chip, and turbo rules the streets.....lmao.... My "pathetic", "old-fashioned" modular motor spanks the above car with regularity. And there are many other "ancient", (valley of the dinosaurs\cretaceous era) 5.0s that spank me with regularity.... Methinks we need to get Mr. 5.0 to send a formal response to that drivel...

Sent him a Little packet of Education!
Like Unit, I e-mailed the guy. I gave him a little "Education" from someone that knows something about cars. ME (Granted there are alot better people here on the site.)
As Unit said, the guys a moron. I mentioned that I thought you actually had to research the topic before writing an article on it. I told him that article wasnt even fit to hand in as a High School paper, but in more proffesional sounding terms. What a dick. Hey Mr 5.0, would you be so kind as to e-mail this guy. You'd represent Mustang Works far better than any of us could. I didnt put down what Web site I was from. |

This explains why you don't do drugs. It's a pretty givin fact that this guy is a moron. But more the less my opinion on why these cars arn't as popular as before is because of several reasons. I'm 17 and this is why I don't drive a new Trans-Am or Camaro.
#1 they are pretty damn expensive. New Camaro goes for $26,995 - $39,225 (Canadian that is) #2 even if I got the car for free I can't afford insurance for one of those. They would rape me so bad, it isn't like it used to be. I can't afford the car let alone the insurance. #3 Gas prices, a V8 goes threw alot more gas then a 4cly. Times have changed alot from when these cars were popular, maybe this guy should look at the trends that have changed. And look at how much school is going to cost. I don't have alot of money to put down on a car when I have to pay for school. That is my basic idea. Now exclude me from this cause I have a 69 Mustang Mach 1, I'm waiting for insurance ot murder me next summer, and gas prices to empty my wallet.

I can't even gather the words to email this guy and let him know just what the "tuner" crowd is really thinking.
Having a Focus, I guess I fall into the "tuner" crowd. Outside of wheels and tires, I don't see me doing anything else to the car until the Cobra is done. And as all cars go, she will never be done. The guys is simply an idiot, and should step away from the gene pool. |
