Exclamation Mr 5 0 steps down as Admin/Moderator

Unfortunately, Jim Sweeters (aka Mr 5 0) has stepped down as the message board administrator and a moderator on Mustang Works. He's had to devote much more time to other things that have come up in his life during this year, and no longer feels he has adequate resources to devote to keeping up with the task. I've respected his wishes, and the entire Mustang Works staff thanks him for all his hard work and greatly appreciates all he has contributed to the MW community by overseeing the forums.

Although he will no longer be an admin, or moderator, he is still a member of the site. Hopefully he will find some time around recent events and other commitments in his life to visit us from time to time.

Jim, thank you for all of the advise you provided for myself and for the many other stangers out there. Not only did you give excellent advise but many times, you were also the voice of reason on these boards. I hope you stick around or drop in to see us when you have the time.

Good luck Jim, you've been around ever since I can remember, I know how you can get wrapped up in real life. Stop by and say hi, I hope all goes well with you. Take care. Thanks for all the advice over the years, it has not gone unnoticed.

I'm sorry to see you go. You're opinions were always looked upon in the highest esteem. Thank you for the effort and time you've contributed from your own life into making this a great site. Sometimes your way with words shone years of knowledge (and entertainment) for the younger members. Thanks again and have fun away from the computer!

Sorry to see that your not moderating the windsor forum anymore, and i hope that we will continue to see your posts on the boards. We'll see if this Dan McClain guy, whoever he is, can do the job as well as you did.

Jim.

Regardless of your status at Mustang Works, you are a part of the Family here. Thats all that really matters, not if your a moderator, a administrator, or what ever.

I presume you'll be sticking around and still giving the excellent advice, guidance, and just all round being a good friend.

You are definetly one of the reasons why Mustang Works is the great site that it is.

P.S. Thanks for getting most of my spelling errors throught the years.

It's too bad that u are leaving us. MAny of us looked at u as a father fiqure for that the advice u have given us in the past was golden. Your words spook none truer <--looks wrong?) and were always correct. U will be truly missed and waited apon your arrival to the site again.

Thumbs up

Mr. 5.0....Well you were the very first person I got advice from here, and I'm probably not the only one who can say that.

Sometimes just being a member here can take up enough time, I can imagine an Administrator/Moderator takes more yet (except that Hammer guy he's always slacking ).

I'm not sorry to see you go, cause your not, your still going to be a member! I don't know how much less time you'll spend on the boards, but if you are anything like me you'll be drawn back here time, and time again.

The site is what it is today largely due to your contributions. Dispite Dan's In-human Efforts, you have helped to create this Fantastic online magazine, for that, I thank you.

The RHC Salutes you!

Nope 95Mustanggt, you're not the only one.

I remember when I first joined the site way back in the day, Jim was right there to answer some of my first questions.

Jim, you've been very helpful and a great asset to these boards. I hope you'll continue your input and don't be a stranger.

Jim:

I had a feeling you'd leave eventually, you didn't seem to enjoy the position as much as when I first came to MW in early 2001 ...whether it was the post counting or irritating newbies, I can't say I blame you!

Moderating had to be a full time job for ya! I hope you still poke your head in every once in a while to advise someone, or yell at some stupid liberal/person too lazy to use the Internet "search" function

Take care,

Belle
