Post Mullets

What is it with this hairstyle? Didnt it go out in the 80's? SO why do people still have them?
Im my opinion, the mullet was never "in".

You guys will get a kick out of this. Across from the ford dealer i work at, which i might add NO ONE has a mullet, is a chevrolet dealership. After about 7 or 8:00 if you pass by on the road in front of the shop a bunch of employees will be in the back of a beat up 70's chevy truck drinking beer (Icehouse, Bud, occasionally the "classic" schmidts) and half of them have mullets. A guy at work told me this and i said, "BS, there's no way anyone can stereotype themselves that bad", sure enough though, he was absolutely right. I just about wrecked the car i was test driving because i was laughing so hard (which isn't good because there's a bunch of hick chevy guys right next to a harley davidson shop that would easily kick my butt).
That is a good question though, WHY do people wear mullets. Although you can also ask, "why do people rice out their cars." and also never come up with an answer. Some things in life, i guess will remain a mystery.

My guess is that they want long hair, but don't want it hanging in their face. There is a guy a school with a mullet. I'm sure there is more, but I see this guy all the time. He drives an old beater Plymounth Duster. His car smokes and backfires all the time. He's like a real life Joe Dirt!
