A Must See Event
 

Take a look at this link ... Something i've been meaning to go see for 2 or 3 years now because i've heard so much about it. In a unhurried uncrowded setting (by so calif standards) you get to get up close and personal with some of the gorgeous machinery from the earlier days of drag racing ... and you get to hobnob with the legends of the sport, many of whom are strolling around with everybody else. Something i must see is what they call cacklefest where they gather 25 or 30 nitro burning cars together and fire them all at the same time .... something i'm told that causes goose bumps and misty eyes in the old timers as the memories flood back.
If you're a fan of drag racing, i think this is a must see event sooner or later.

That's sweet man. Maybe we should set up a MW meet and greet at the 2003 event?
