Must see Movies !

I have been watching " Joe Dirt " every morning for the last few weeks. It motivates me before work. It's been out awhile I know, but a must see!!

And you?

429mustang 04-03-2003 07:45 PM

Joe Dirt's definitely sweet. All the CKY videos are bayad too, I wish more dvd's though (snatch, dumb & dumber, cable guy, caddyshack). supposedly there's a dumb & dumber-er coming out.

How about Office Space before you go to work?

Or better yet, the greatest movie of all time..... Aliens:D

The move I'd watch (if I had time to) before work would be Full Metal Jacket. Something about that movie makes me a little bit more motivated.

FMJ also motivates me. Hell, brings back memories.

Fight Club

Fight Club will certainly get you moving:
"This is your life and it's ending one minute at a time."

And there's always that wonderful tidbit that gives us faith in the automotive companies:
Narrator: "A new car built by my company leaves somewhere traveling at 60 mph. The rear differential locks up. The car crashes and burns with everyone trapped inside. Now: should we initiate a recall? Take the number of vehicles in the field, A, multiply by the probable rate of failure, B, multiply by the average out-of-court settlement, C. A times B times C equals X. If X is less than the cost of a recall, we don't do one."
Business woman on plane: "Are there a lot of these kinds of accidents?"
Narrator: "You wouldn't believe."
Business woman on plane: "Which car company do you work for?"
Narrator: "A major one."

I just watched the Ring the other night... good freaky flick :D

I have a few favorites, but my most recent one is a movie called Dagon. It is a little disturbing though. There are a few (very little) computer graphics in it that could be a bit better but the movie itself is good enough that I can ignore them. Also, it helps to know a VERY LITTLE amount of spanish. But even if you don't, you could still figure it out. I think this is the type of movie that will have different (great or little) effect on each person depending on who you are. I would suggest you check it out. But like I said b4, it is a little disturbing...

Hmmm...let's see. Where to start?

Major Payne

Tommy Boy

Tombstone...not historically accurate, but a darn good flick.

Goodness...I know there soo many more, but I just can't think. I've got neuro on my mind right now...kinda clutters things up.

Goldmember!! Which I've seen about 25 times since I bought the DVD! T2 rocks too.

The thing that blows me away about Goldmember is that it is in full DTS sound!! The opening scene shakes the walls when I turn up the volume! :D

bigred90gt 04-08-2003 10:56 AM

I love goldmember. I think "the spy who shagged me" was a little better though. I would have to say The Ring right now. I want to see that new one with Jack Nicholas and Adam Sandler. That looks hilarious.

NotchJohnson 04-08-2003 08:19 PM

Have any of you guys seen "boondock saints". Its not too popular but its ******* badass, a must see in my opinion if you like good action movies.

CADreamin 04-08-2003 09:04 PM

I didn't think I'd like it, but my girlfriend's sister convinced me to watch Minority Report. It was great...just when you think you know what's about to happen you find out you're wrong...

Also on my list of personal favorites (no particular order):

the first two Godfather movies
any of the Dirty Harry movies
Chinatown
2001: A Space Odessy
Saving Private Ryan
Full Metal Jacket
Office Space
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
The Shining
A Clockwork Orange
Caddyshack
