MUSTANG TURNED INTO A LAWNMOWER ...WTF!!!!
I was watching tv today, and an ad for a show called "Monster Garage" came on. It said it would be about taking cars, and turning them into weird machines. One of the cars was a 87-90 white GT Mustang convertible. It said they were going to make it into a LAWNMOWER of all things. WTF!!!!! I guess it would be the worlds most kick a** lawnmower, but man thats just wrong. The show is going to come on this Sunday at 9 p.m. on "The Discovery Channel" if ya wanna check it out. I thought rice stangs were bad, but this takes the cake.

BBBAAAAHHHHAAAA :D
I want to see that!!! Can you imagine mowing your lawn with a Mustang? I've seen lawn mowers modded to look like a mustang but I have never heard of that. I think it would make a great article!!! Oh, my to funny!!! Shelby |
I've got a 1/4 mile strip of grass that takes too long to cut. Maybe I can borrow the car and make a few passes. :D I guess it will give new meaning to referring to cars as sounding like lawnmowers, eh?
|
I saw an ad for that show today too. I think it was a different ad though because they showed the Mustang after it was a lawn mower. They painted it green and huge mower blades sticking out from underneath it. It also sounded like they suped it up too.:D
|
hahaha... that is kickass. I'll be sure to watch it and see how it goes. :D
|
Can't wait to hear what the "other guys" are going to say about this! :)
|
Hahahahah just tooo funny, will have to remember to watch that show. Sounds weird but hey anything goes now a days Odie:cool:
|
DUDE!!!
That sounds waaaaaaay cool, I saw the ad too, and can't wait to watch it on TV!!! :D :D :D |
I can't find it in my tv guide. I hope I don't miss it I'll keep on looking though!
|
Did I miss it or did they not show this episode today? That limo fire truck was pretty cool though...
|
well it USED to be a pretty sweet car:rolleyes:
|
I didnt see the show but I seen the commercials I was pissed. Thats not cool to turn a mustang into a lawnmower however at least you can mow your lawn quickly Hahahaha:D
|
Im so glad they got Jesse James to do "Monster Garage". The man is probably the most talented motorcycle mechanic/bodywork in the world.
He ******* handhammers all of the steel to make his custom bikes. West Coast Choppers kick ******* ***. I've seen two of the Monster Garages so far...They turned a limo into a fire truck, and a Explorer into a trash truck. |
Ugh...what a waste of 2 hours of my life
They didn't show the Mustang, which I think was a totally GAY gimmick to get FoMoCo fans to watch this particular night, and Jesse James was about the most annoying person I've watched in a LONG time. He builds awesome bikes, but he just sits around on that show while the other mechanics do ALL the work, and doles out criticism constantly... The Explorer was pretty cool, the best part was when Mr. James had to pay out $500 to the sanitation engineer...guess the "PAY UP SUCKER" tattoo on his hand didn't work in his favor this time :D mwahahahahaha I'm just kidding around, the show was pretty good, but the limo was kinda silly...I did love watching the trash truck race! |
Yeah I was disappointed that they didn't show the stang as well. At the end of the two they did show they said the one with the Mustang will come on Monday night.

i loved it..:D jesse james didn't really smart off today, so it was better. he kicked the Combines a** at 90 mph, with an extra 2 ton lawnmower combine afixed to the undercarrige of the stang, an two mini combines on the doors. its crap i used to dream about doing to cars, painted it house of kolor green with gold wire wheels( green for the money, gold for the honies) sounded bad ***, i think they had a bit of nitrous also. he gave the 4 ton grain combine a 30 second head start i like this show.:D |
Jesse James was pretty cool today. I was wondering about the nitrous if they put it in or not. Jesse was talking about it at the start and then I thought I saw them show a bottle real quick at the end, but they didn't say anything about it?
It was sad to see them ruthlessly tear apart that poor Mustang though. :( |
Yeah dude, he actually did WORK!?!?!?! I almost went into shock when I saw him get more of his shop logo shirts dirty!  That man is a GENIUS when it comes to fabricating machinery, but boy oh boy is he a yutz!
That stang was really cool, but those rimz...sheesh! They looked like Daytons on steriods :D |
That was so freakin cool. I watched the one last night about the mower and the boat VW bug. That was jsut to cool. I want one of his bikes. Those are so bad. I have also recently learned by my grandmother that I am some how a distant relative of the Jesse James the outlaw. She explained it to me but the list of people was so long its not funny. If I'm kin to the outlaw and the otehr Jesse is Kin, maybe we are Kin some how. WOnder if he gives family members discounts????? Hummmmmmmm

I saw it too... very cool! I think the bottle your talking about was a propane bottle they used to make the flames from the exhaust. He was talking about putting a 200 shot on a stock 5.0, doubt it would have held up.
|
MAN!! I missed it. I saw the preview for it!!!
I should have put in a tape!! |

pony, i can almost gurantee that it'll be on sometime saturday or sunday, plus it got picked up for fall lineup as a regular so theres more on the way. |
I almost started to cry when they began ripping that GT apart. I would love to have had that car before they messed it up. I wonder what they do with all those cars after they get done with each show. Juck em maybe?
|
I watched it last night and thought that the shows were pretty good. I liked the show with the VW better than the Mustang show. It seemed like they had to do WAY more work to the VW to make everything work. Hell, just making a car float in 7 days is a nice challenge by itself.
And Jesse James had such a bad ***** bike!!! Man does he have the life...building awesome bikes and then cruising with his own bike. I wonder how his prices are?? How many thousand per bike?? Those bikes give new meaning to "open road cruising" |
GOT A TAPE if anyone wants a copy. got the one with the bug and the stang. the paint job on the stang was neato-torpedo. i thought the colors were VERY cool except for the blingedy-bling rims. if i'd get a freebie that that i'd sell those suckers for some chrome R's and extra gas money. and the pipes comin out the window's? talk about blowing your ears out after a 400 mile drive to the beach heh.
did anyone see the shows with the the Fire-limo and the garbage-xplorer? not a bad job with those either. |

i know they're more than than a new Harley, but he does sell parts also. everything is hand fabricated, custom made an painted. i'm thinkin about $60,000- bottom barrel so you rich guys... porshe, or jesse james el diablo special..hmm tough choice...:D www.westcoastchoppers.com |
Yeah, he said about $75,000 on average. I dunno, I don't think I'd ever want to make my favorite hobby my job...most people say it kinda takes the charm out of it, although I'm sure there's some exceptions :)
|
green for the money..gold for the honey...yeah I saw the mustang one...it was okay...It was cool cause of the flames shooting out of the pipe...but the beatle turned into the swamp thing..now that was funny...now if only rice rockets did that...then I would buy one...maybe...but that thing almost sunk...I was hoping....but it didn't...it looked like some baja bug thing gone horribly wrong...it looked lowered...wasn't but it did look it...it was the motorcycle pipes that gave it the baja look..lol...
