![]() I don't bash kawi's all the time I bash then when people continue to talk out of their *** about other bikes they have never even road let alone probably sat on.
Bash the R6 all you want I love my baby and she treats me good. Let it bug you all you want. I formed my opinion on Kawi's and the other bikes I have ridden from actually riding them not just reading about pro riders time and opinion..........if it bugs you personally tuff crap IMO......... Be surprised all you want but you obviously don't know me nor read my post well enough to even get a hint about me or my opinions of differen't bikes. But, according to you everything is Kawi's suck I mean hell I must have said it how many times in the 130 so post I have here So continue on with topic at hand. ... /goes back to packing for vacation. ![]() ![]() |

![]() 1969MACH1 the ZZ-R1200 numbers are 145hp 10.12et at 136.9mph according to Motorcyclist magazine. I haven't rode one but they say it is a nice ride, one you can ride long distances without beating yourself up. I don't know, maybe I could go down to the motorcycle shop and ask to ride all the new bikes, but something makes me think they might not let me.

![]() I will never buy and ride another bike unless it has a dampner on it. The Ohlins is the **** as far as dampners go. I had one on my 7RR along with gp's front and rear and could come around ducati's like they were nothing. Once you get a little heat into them and get that dampner set, yeeeeaaaaaww it was gone.
You cant count any bike out on the street, cuz you never know what they have done to them. My favs are always the customs and sleepers. Hell I raced Brian Shnitz at a Prostar event and he run a record with a high 9 sec on a ZX6R against me. And that was in the stock street class, just pipes and a carb tune. Talk about shrinking your willie for ya. : The 600s are fun as hell to drive, although they dont have the torque and power that the big'ns do. The 600s are kinda funny on when they come up on ya, some times they hit hard and other times you gotta slip it up. It depends alot on the rider and knowing the bike very well. One thing you can count on is the handling, quick and nimble on most. |

heheheh awesome, huh? I know a few VERY fast ZX-6R's... I had quite a few people call BS when I ran 10.35 on mine with a small sprocket, jet-kit, full exhaust, k&n, and strapped. Some people are fools. ![]() ![]()

ZX-6R, F4i, GSXR600R, R6....... I have spent a considerable amount of time on every 600cc (with the exception of the ******* Triumph TT POS) and they are all basically the same. Of course, you will find a few diffierent characteristics that you might appreciate on one more than another, but there is no true 600cc champion that stands out above the rest. To put it simply, when I ride an R6, I'm contiunally having to slow down for peeps to catch up..... When I ride the 6R, same thing.... When I ride the f4, same story. It's all the rider....always will be. In fact, I'm finding myself leaving my RR in the garage and taking out the 6R more frequently simply for fun factor. My buddies on R1's and 929's really don't have to wait for me. So.......do whatever you like as long as you ENJOY doing it. I mean, isn't this the point of riding in the first place? (Not to spank the 600cc next to you, but to just have a good time and come home with all limbs ![]()

![]() Wowee! A Kawi Slamboree!
![]() ![]() ![]() Personally, I don't think I'll be experienced enough for a loooong time to even consider myself credible to rate bikes...Riding IMO is like driving...there certainly are people just gifted from the start, but EXPERIENCE is priceless, and like everyone else has said, one model might be more desirable in certain areas to certain people. I, for one, hate the riding position of the GSXR 750...someone may love it! The older I get the more I realize how important it is to appreciate/respect the tastes of others, and I've also discovered how little people care about what I think ![]() ![]() I'm in it for the fun factor, other people and other bikes be damned!! |

![]() The ZX9R isn't down on power. 1/4 times and trap speed are ahead of the 929, and only a tick behind the R1 or two clicks from the Gixxer. Pipe and jet kit the 9R will see 120rwhp longer than a Hayabusa. The engine is everything it needs to be to stay competitive, but the chassis just isn't setup to be as crazy as the other liters. Pretty much the same story with the ZX6R. I don't know about the latest R1, but the R1 was using the same engine that was in the FZR1000 - 10 years ago and more. The older engines never got optimized like the newer ones, so bikes like the R1, and the 9R benefit significantly from a pipe/jet kit, whereas the GSX1000R doesn't. Pipe and a jet kit on a R1 was worth from 131rwhp to 139rwhp on the last run I saw. The ZX9R put down high 120's, and then 134rwhp with a pipe and jet kit. Heh, the only 1 liter that I'm positive was a turd in stock form was the 900RR. I've seen ZX7R's outdyno them by a fair margin.
None of the bikes are light years ahead of the others. I've yet to see a TT600 dyno first hand. From the numbers I've seen and the dyno charts on other machines, I'd expect it to be right with the ZX6R and the F4. Can't say I've ridden them, so all I can tell you is what everybody else I know who has ridden them says. I can tell you they dyno close. |

![]() LOL I'm the LAST one to judge people for what they ride!!! I've never come on here saying, "oh your CBR sucks", or "your Harley sucks" or "your riced-out honda sucks"!! I love all bikes, and cars! If you love it, the better for ya! Have fun and enjoy it. I'm sure the people who know me, know this to be very true. Trust me, I'm done bickering on this Kawi point, let them all rag on it! ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Don't worry, it's not your fault. This ALWAYS happens when fragile egos are involved. I always used to promote having fun and enjoying YOUR bike on sportbikes.net, but no one ever listened to me. No matter what bike you buy, you'll be in for an unbeleivable amount of fun. Just get what appeals to you and enjoy the heck out of it. ![]()

![]() Correct me if I am wrong here but, from what I have heard, seen around, and what I noticed at the prostar races 90% of the drag bikes are Suzuki's (and I am not just saying that because I am a Suzuki fan). The only class that Kawasaki (or any other manufacturer) had a major part in was the 600 class at the prostar races. And that was because they had the only factory team. I would look it up to verify but we are have network problems and I can only get to like 3 web sites right now.
As far as the bickering goes ANY BIKE THAT IS NOT A SUZUKI SUCKS... ![]() Ohhhhhhh... J/K I talk trash about all the other bikes because I am a die hard Suzuki fan. I love all bikes and have much respect for them but I am going to talk trash, it’s all in good fun. I probably talk more trash about Kawasaki’s because of the “ninja’ name and how a large % of the general public thinks all sportbikes are “ninjas” I hate when I hear someone say “hey look at that ninja” while pointing at my gixxer. Is my **** green, Hell no! ![]()
