Default Mustangs listed in Auto trader

I’ve been thinking about placing a ad in autotrader.com. Is really worth paying $40 bucks
for a picture and a detailed description of my car in there ads….

Has anyone sold there mustang on that site

Thanks

I have! Works well with cars that are in demand like fox body Mustangs, Z27.99's, CRX's, Civics, etc... I have had about 8 cars and sold most of them through the autotrader. But a Dodge Neon I tried to sell recently (my sister's) didn't even get a call!

FWIW, I put my car in Auto Trader, and the damn phone doesn't stop ringing! It's basically the numero uno site to check if you're hunting for a car, much more visited than the general merchandise sites at least. $40 on a multi-thousand-dollar deal isn't squat, IMHO. Go for it.

I sold my Mustang two days after placing my ad in AutoTrader to the first guy that came to look at it. I had many other calls....I should have asked more money than I did. Or, not sold it all

I didn't sell a car there but I did BUY my car in AutoTrader in Jan. (check my sig )
I'm VERY proud of my purchase.
It IS a great source. I'd say its worth it. My suggestion would be to put as many pics on there as you can afford and as much detail. It helps to stimulate interest if you have more than 1 pic.
