There was a recent post about needing an all Mustang movie(great idea) which has left me curious as to how many times Mustangs have been mentioned or featured. I was wanting to see how many we can come up with.:D

Here are a few I can think of:

Mustang Sally

Karate kid had a fox mustang in it, I white one I believe.
Goonies also have a red GT in it.
Hannibal had a blue LX in it.

Thats all I can think of right now, but i know theres a ton more.

pretty woman had a red convert GT.
there was a song in fast and furious in the beginning. lyrics were "in a Mustang, bangin through the gears".

I remember hearing that mustang song in fast and the furious too.

I was just watching the making of the fast and the furious and they showed the actors learning how to drive and do tactical maneuvers in a mustang. Just thought I would add that.

Don't forget "Big Mama's House" the chick drives a red Fox Body GT Convert. I was kinda unset that they didn't put a Mustang in "The Fast and the Furious". Maybe cuz it would make the little ricers look bad. Well at least they had a Lightning! We had some representation form the SVT family.

"The Substitute" had a blue lx in it.

For any of you Canadian folks I know CBC has a advertisement with a Blue 66 Mustang Coupe driving down the street. I never actually seen it but it was my cousins car that was in it. Doesn't Vanilla Sky have a stang in it too?

I was flipping through the channels the outher day and stoped on bay watch pam anderson was driving like a 92-93 gt vert very beautiful "car":rolleyes: ;) :D then I turned the channel because I dont poison my mind with that stuff:rolleyes:

Mustang sightings I remember:

1. TWiNS-Arnold Schwarzennager drove a fox GT convert, ran it on two side wheels at the supermarket
2. Basic Instinct-Michael Douglas chases a Lotus in a fox GT convert
3. Point of no Return-Bridgett Fonda took a ride with the "sweeper" in a fox GT convert
4. The Last Boyscout-Bruce Willis's boss was blown up in a fox GT convert. Poor car.
5. L. A. Story-Steve Martin's love interest drives to a Malibu getaway in a fox GT convert
6. Innerspace-Dennis Quaid's bad ***** 66 convertible

And a lot of other "obscure" sightings. I have a theory that there is a Mustang in over 98% of all movies made-somewhere in the background.

There is a mustang in Fast and The furious movie too....Its in the deleted scenes part on DVD its a rusty classic but its a stang

oh yah and Kid Rock's new video has a cameo of Steve Grebeck's Pro 5.0 car

This may sound weird, but I was fliping through the chanels the other day, and the power rangers had two hopped up 5.0's Looked to be about '89 or so. I had to watch just the car chase seene. Of course, the mustangs(bad guys) won the race, (aginst a little geo metro-lol).

Another one is Home improvement. He had one for his son, plus there were plenty others.

i think an eighties flick named something in the lines of "Cherry" something...all i remember that it was an off road(lifted)65-66 fastback that was red. cant remember the movie.
