MTU 50:
It was stolen from my girlfriend's house in Center Line. They had been watching it for a while. I fell asleep on the couch and woke up at midnight to move it in the driveway and it was gone, the hatch lock was laying in the street. Ultraflo: The 89 is really nothing special. It is a .030 over 69 351 with Wiseco flat-tops. It has a .630 solid roller. Gasket matched Windsor Sr. heads (milled to 58cc works out to 11.06:1). Victor Jr. intake and a 750 cfm Mighty Demon. The trans is a TH350 (it was already in the car, my buddy was a chevy guy didn't think a C-4 would hold up), a 4200 Coan converter. 8.8 with c-clip eliminators, 4.10 gear (broken Auburn Pro, going to a spool). I got a great deal on a lot of stuff. This was also before I had a car payment (now I have the Cobra). I wanted to go fast, but I didn't want to tear up my 88 (it ran 12's and had air). I have a big shot plate, that was only used once, and produced a blown head gasket. On motor I ran a best of 11.09 @ 121 with only a 1.625 60'. If I could figure out the 60' it will run 10's, I know it will. I think the ailing auburn is partly to blame. Jason |
