Default My 03 Snake

I haven't been on the site for a while. I used to have the user name 88GT5.013.02. But I hadn't been on in a while, until my 88GT was stolen.

With the insurance money I put a down payment on an 03 Cobra. Here is a pic and the timeslip.

Timeslip:

The only mods are a BBK X-pipe, flowmaster cat-back, and a K&N filter. The run was on the F1's and was made after I also ran a 12.52.

VERY SWEET! Nice to see some times by the average person. You hear all these times and not sure if there rumours or what.
Congrats on the beauty!

Sweet car man! If you can you should post some video of your car. I've only seen one video of the 03 Cobra. Are the blowers really that loud? They sound very cool!

I don't have any footage of my car as of yet, but I might be able to get some video of my buddy's Lightning up. The blowers are loud. Before the exhaust that was all I heard. These cars are extremely quiet with the stock exhaust.

Thanks guys. The track I ran at is in the middle of a corn field, but was resurfaced not to long ago and they do have pretty good track prep.

I can't recall what I was racing, but I think it was a 4cyl S10.

Yeah it sounds bad, but I am kinda glad my 88 was stolen now. At first I figured my friends would say that I had it jobbed, but they knew all of the work and money I put into the car. Everyone was bummed out, even my mom and my girlfriend (the two people that hated the car the most) were totally sympathetic.

I will try to attach a pic of the old car.

Nice car.

I don't wish that my foxbody gets stolen, but I wouldn't mind getting a new 03' Cobra.

Thanks, it was my baby. I had everything done to that car besides a power-adder (h/c/i). I was going to order a turbo kit for it this winter. I had just bought the chrome Cobra R's a year ago.

Oh well. I guess some piece of ***** wanted more than me. I have pics of when they recovered it (have to find them). Found it two days later totally stripped. I had $10,000 in receipts.

Where was it stolen from? Since I'm from the Detroit area, I'm a little bit curious.

Getting my car stolen is one of my biggest fears. Up here at school in the U.P. I could probably leave the windows down and the keys in it and not worry a bit, but not back at home. When I go home I am always careful about where I park it and how long I leave it there. And my car is for the most part stock. I don't what I'd do if I had 10 grand in the thing.

Lock it up in a bunker probably. j/k
