69 convertible
Hi everyone. Im Pat. Ive been a Mustang fan since high school. The badest car around was a 70 Mustang fastback a kid at school had. I alway knew I wanted one from that time on.(of course the guy had all the women because of the car) I now have 2 project Stangs one of which I building as a friendly driver,a 66 coupe, and the other I just recently purchased is a 69 convertible. The 69 was sitting behind my mother in laws neighbors garage for 11 years parked with a bad trans. His garage is way in the back so I had never even knew the car was there for years.I saw it one day when I was cutting trees down and went to talk to him. He let me have it for a song. My mother in law said she cant believe Id want that car,it hasnt run for years. HA!!!! Anyway I do not know much about he 69 models so I might need help. The driver door glass is broken and I found a 69 coupe in the junkyard but I do not know if it will fit. Does anyone know if that is the same glass. Thanks all.

That is one beautiful beast! Congratulations!!!!!
You have definately found a treasure. I'm not sure about the window, but try it. I'm restoring my '68 and i've found quite a few parts are interchangable. Good luck!, and keep us informed. These guys can tell you anything you want to know, literally! so don't be afraid to ask!

I would have to guess it would work. If it's cheap try it anyway. That car looks to have a pretty staright body and to not be too rusted out. What a find. I would love to have a convertible.
Good luck. As Nicolette said, someone will eventually tell you for sure if it will work. I have learned alot from this site.

I'm not sure about your model but I do know that '68's have different door windows for the coupes(square top corner), convertibles(slopped top corner) and fastbacks(rounded top corner). Nice ride, have fun.
