3050lbs On My 88 GT????
i was told my car should weigh 3050lbs. is this correct???

That is for the 1987 GT. There is no technical difference between the 1987 car and the 1988 car. The 1988 car is listed at 3194lbs, but that could be loaded with an auto, the Coupe only increased in weight 37lbs that year, from 3000, to 3037. |

Get this- the nadaguide has my car listed at 2597lbs! I really doubt it's that light though

My 90 GT weighed around 3100 w/o me in it and a full tank of gas, without the smog stuff you could lose close to 50 lbs so that's probably close to right.

Ugh, ya'll are lucky. My 90 convert. weighed in at 3600 (AOD) with me and a half tank. I'd say maybe 3350-3400 empty.

My 88 GT weighs 2750 lbs. That is on a diet though.
