ok....by the time the outline was done and the shading was done it was time for a smoke break and a few Tequizas.............
HOLYMOLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS RANKS UP THERE WITH CHILD BIRTH........(Keep in mind, I have a LOW threshhold w/ pain!)......youd think w/ my first one, i'd got a little smaller...but theres that sentimental thing there! Damn........ :)

That looks like a pretty cool tat. I have 4 of them, and your right get something that means something to ya. The only one i like anymore is the checkered flag on the side of my neck. Because no matter what racing is always going to be a part of my life.

Well, if any of ya'll are looking for someone in the Houston area to get a tattoo...these guys were GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!I was impressed w/ thier knowledge and expertise...of course w/ this type of thing. there is a little i want to touch up, but I really liked them....Thanks to SouthernBoys Tattoos....Baytown, Texas!!! :) Two thumbs up... they were great to deal w/ for being a virgin!!!!!!!!!! :) TNT

I'm hurting now...but I guess thats to be expected...I"ve allready had people comment on it..Too bad I have to cover it at work! I could not be happier w/ my choice....the original pic is the painting hanging over my bed and Flash added the tribal outline........I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!! BUT.......... I think I will wait a couple of months for the touchups.....I'm not ready to expierence that again!!!!!!!!!1 NOT quite yet! TNT :)

great looking tat, christine, i have 8 :eek: , but they are all about 20 years old, i checked into getting 2 covered, omg they want more than i probably paid for 7 , one was free, from my bud from germany, one of mine is on his business card, :D , bremerhaven, i think, he gave me the free one when i left, italy, they did'nt hurt me , just annoying like bee sting's, sharp work though, enjoy it, keep neosporin on it for about a week, when it start's peeling, let it dry out, i guess they already told you all that, odie has one, i made her wait 2 years to get it for a reason, everyone look's at me like im a convict or something, heheh. good luck with it, cya. marty. :cool: :D

They said that Neosporin sucks the color out....they reccomended A&D or Bacitracin. I'm a little concerned , cuz its starting to peel and the white parts that were so awesome at first are fading!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Evidently when we went back up there on Sunday for them to photograph it, they said we had TOO much ointment on it.....now I'm paranoid! . I have a feeling I'll be touching up the white...I'm just hoping that I will not lose my vibrant color!!!!!!!!!!!
No pools or tubs or sun for 2-4 weeks...ugghhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I might as well be condemended to HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm gonna keep like 50 sunscreen on it when its safe to do so cuz i dont wana lose my color~!~~~~~~~~~ any words of wisdom????

well i used to just put stuff on mine for about 3 day's, then let it dry, but if you have clothing rubbing , it's different, jeez the last one i got was in 1985, so i guess i aint much help, but it never failed someone would alway's smack me there, just dont peel the scabs, i do remember that, btw , i started just getting black, because color, esp red soak's into your body. hope i was some help? take care & good luck, that is a unique tat. :cool: :)

Hey Christine, thats cool. I bet it hurt like h*ll. You brave lady, I have one on my right thigh. Its a rose with a buterfly landing on the rose. My color has stayed in really good. Had it done in 86 in Hawaii, even the yellow and Marty said it would fade fast. But its still there. I'll post mine, I want to get a camera anyway, like real soon.

Ok I got a funny story.....When Marty and I went to the tatoo shop it was next to the biker bar we hung out in. Well the shop had bars all around it. And you had to stand outside and you could watch people getting there tatoo's. Well my turn came up and he opened the gate, and Marty started to come in and they would't let him. Man that pissed him off. I was ok though, so he watched for a while and then finally said "hey I'm going next door for a beer" so I asked the guy if it was ok if I had him get me one. The guy said sure. Here "I'LL" get you one. So I sat there drinking there 16oz Buds the whole time. It doesn't sound as funny here, but if you could have seen the look on my mans face. He was pissed.....hehehehe..and oh did I swell up, my thigh looked 3 times its size...Odie :cool:

Wow Christine..that's a bad tattoo..I got one about three years ago of the barbwire as they call it around my arm..then I got one of a nitrous bottle on the middle of my back..and below it, it says "When you just gotta win" and has it purging..that thing cost me out the ***** to have it done. Chris was right when he said use Cocoa Butter..that's all i ever put on mine. It works.

Sweet tat! Looks damn good. I have 2 dragons one on my arm and another on my shoulder. The one on my arm is coming out of my arm and colored. The one on my back is a tribal dragon that I never got colored in. I think it looks better outlined. Going to get another one just like it on my other shoulder facing the opposite direction. In the future I'm going to get another dragon I found that I love on my other arm but that is gonna take some $$$. Also going to add a background to the dragon on my arm. I'll try and get some pics up when I can.

For an update...I peeled a good layer of skin in the shower this morning! Guess its healing well. I've been babying it! When I looked in the mirror, couldn't believe it!!!!!!! IT LOOKS AWESOME!
The white has REALLY come out! Guess there was dead skin over it! :confused:
I'm gonna keep using the ointment till its healed up a little more, then I'll start hitting it w/ the cocoa butter! Thanks for the tips and the stories...It is def. a unique and different expierience for everyone~!! :cool: TNT Tattooed In Texas...lol

Thanks SRV....Actually i took a digital picture of the painting hanging over my bed and printed it out. It was rectangular and Flash added the tribal shape and brought the design out into it. So, I guess you could say its definetely a custom tattoo....
Glad ya like it...Its still healing nicely, but starting to get a little itchy now...I'm still babying it!

It is as far as I know. I think it's killer! She had said something about a thread with peoples tat pics, and I suggested using SEARCH for a thread that Rebel did when he got his tat late last year. He did a thread here and at SN, and one or both had several members tats posted. That's as far as I know. I'm not sure where that reaction came from, unless she was joking.

tnt if it's itching it is healing, you got to scratch around it ,not on it, not making a dumb comment, i always rubbed around it, but not on it, sounds like it is healing nicley. :D :cool: :cool:

Is it time for the cocoa butter yet? Is there still a possibility of it getting infected at this point? Or you think I'm in the clear? It still feels a little tender if it gets poked by tags and stuff like that. So I"m being careful to wear stuff that sits below it! :rolleyes:

yeah, christine start your coco butter, just rub around the outer edges, not on the tat, it help's some, but, i know the urge to just scratch the h-- out of is there, but dont, it's been awhile for me, but that , i wanna scratch the crap out of it , is annoying, sound's like it is healing give it a week or so, should go away. hope i helped, marty. :) oh put the coco butter on it but, dont rub the tat, just try to rub around it for relief

Never understood the direction to the search button...it HAS been a few months since that supposed thread, perhaps other people have gotten new tats since then...not only that, most people with tattoos like to show them off, so I don't really see the harm in REPOSTING...I think its more fun to post in real time anyways :)
