My Daughters Xmas Choir Concert @Kemah Boardwalk tonight!

HEY YA'LL!!!! :D
Tonight, (Friday) at 7pm, little cc is doing a choir concert for the 4th/5th Grade choir at the Kemah Boardwalk. Where we have our shows....

Its only about 30 minutes long, (depending on the kids) AND SHE was picked to sing the closing song as a solo!!!!! I had NO IDEA she could even sing!!!! When she sang it for me, I was blown away!!! (dont know where she got her voice from, I dont think it was me, and DEF. not her dad!!! )
This is her first year ever to be in it. I will be taking her out there and prolly do dinner at either Tequilla Willeys' or somewhere there on the Boardwalk, still undecided...

If any of ya'll around our area are bored tonight and wanna get out... Come down to Kemah, On the Boardwalk, where the fountains are (in front of the Aquarium)...We'll be out there! :)
Love to have you come out.....:p

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

MAN, THAT WAS SOOOOO COOL!!!!!
It was Sooooooo CUTE! She looked Soooooo Cute! We meet WhiteSnake and them out there....(my Ex-MUTHER in law was there, needless to say, she stayed on the other side of the stage!) :D

When it was time for cc to sing, they girl who was Emceeing it said, "Heres our Christmas Gift to Ya'll" and cc went up to the microphone....everyone was talking about how great she sounded....she sang "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire". I honest to God, did not know she sang so well!!!!!!!

It was really pretty cold outside...My eyes were so foggy from watering trying to keep from crying, I could hardly see her. I WAS SO PROUD OF HER!!!!! EVERYONE came up to her and told her how wonderful she was...she would humbly say "thank You" and smile. To be that young and innocent, and not realize what it did to people. I was in Awe.

After that we took her and a friend to ride a ride, then her friend left and we all went and had dinner at Cadillac Bar there on the Boardwalk.
What an awesome night! Makes me teary again, just writing this....

Makes me realize just how Blessed I really am~~~~

my ex video'd the performance last night at the school...hes making me a copy. I forgot my camera....I'm sick to death. I'm gonna take her Xmas pic w/ the dogs in front of the tree w/ her outfit on...she was just toooooooooooo Purrrrrrrrrty!!!!!! :D I'll post them when I do....:)

thanks guys. :)TNT:)

Awwww glad it went well Christine

Kids are a awsome gift to have and to see them grow up into a unique person makes it even more special.

Tonight I was getting groceries and this little girl was with her parents checkin out.The parents were loading the groceries into the shopping cart.Their little girl was carryin the small christmas tree that they got her.She needed help carryin it through the electronic doors in the grocery store,She says "Sir,Can you please open those doors up for me." I had to help her,she was so cute tryin to carry a tree the same size as her :D,she looked like she was only 5 years old ;)
