My whole sense of speed is now skewed...
I just went for a ride in a low 9 second Hemi STREET Cuda. I used to think that a High 12 second car was fast. It was the most unholhy thing I could ever have experienced. The best part about my ride was that a 96 Cobra rolled up with Flowmasters and genuinely wanted a piece of this monster. Do you think the Beautifully pungent smell of race gas could have alerted him? Or perhaps the UNGODLY loud staccato idle that screams "I turn 8K RPM and make 800 HP"
I enjoy mustangs immensly, but you have to find that enjoyable. |
i never was a chyrsler person , except 68 , 69 road runner's but yhe early 70's hemi cuda was one m-f bad a$$ ride no dought they were probably THE car of the early 70's, i would be da-- proud to own one . enough said.

Reading this post, I just realized something pretty sad. The fastest car I have EVER been in was a 98 Corvette LS1 Vert. Likely a low 13 sec car at best. I have no clue what a 12sec car feels like, let alone a 9 sec one!!!

stoplight warrior , back when i just got my liscense old 60's muscle car's sold for 800.00 to 1,000 bucks ,just used car's they were raw power i am just getting into the newer ride's which handle better etc, but the old one's were fun you really had to know how to corner ,etc now you just kinda pull the wheel that way,but it was fun just , point's , carb , dwell & timing miss it, but also enjoy the new stuff oh well , time marches on .those day's were fun.
