![]() Whats up guys/gals. Need you guys' help. I have learned alot from all of your posts here about the 4v Cobra motor in the little time I have been here.
Heres my question; here is my friends mod list and car....... "97 Cobra: BBK Longtubes w/offroad h-pipe, MAC cat back, FMS 4.10's, Spec Stg.3 clutch, Steeda Tri-Ax shifter, Alum. driveshaft. Coming soon: Vortech S-Trim and a lot of other stuff" What surprises me, and has made me come to your board to get educated, is that he ran a 12.9 with his current mods. Sunday, he got his S-trim blower put on. With that 12.9 with gears and the h-pipe as his only mods, he has stunned the f-bod crowd already. Since the track closed, he has added long tubes and now the blower. On another board (our local Ezee board) we are dicussing what he should run. I doubted his car ran a 12.9 with a gear, and I was wrong. There are a few guys on the board saying he will hit 11's no problemmo. Some of the f-bod guys are making azzes of themselves by saying "there no way". I am not one of them. ![]() Just want to bring in more opinions about what to expect. Me? Before I would have said maybe a 12.6 or so with all current mods he has........now I say he should be 12.2-12.3 at best. Am I wrong? Let me hear it guys. ![]() ![]()
