Can you smell that?
It's the begining of the race season. The smell of burnt rubber, oil, brakes, tranny fluids...............ah, now that's living. The 24 hours of Daytona. Saleen S7's beating up on the 'Vettes and Porches, and whoever else gets in the way. Gotta love it.
Next week is speed week, and here lately I've been haning out with Ted Musgrave's son Justin, and he invited me to go with him to Daytona for the week, but reality says I can't go. Poor me. I'd love to be in the middle of it all. What wrench carrying redneck from the south wouldn't want to? Anyway, I just thought I'd see if anyone else was as glad to see racing on TV as me. Anyway, later. |
