![]() Good luck Sky. It's a lot harder for people to change than it is saying they will. The only one on this board who really knows this girl is you. Watch out for the signs of her becoming too controlling again. If she really loves you and wants a long term relationshi w/ you, she'll be happy knowing you're a hard worker and that you'll be financially stable/ready for marriage in the future. She sounds young. Don't rush marriage, cause it's not an easy commitment. The last thing you want is for her to force you into marrying her. Just be smart, be happy, treat each other well, and when it's time or if she's the right one, you'll know.

![]() Not anything against your girl sky but I wouldn't trust her... all females are lying dirty selfish cheating (insert improper word here). They seem to get a kick out of playing games with your head... just make sure you have the upper hand at all times and do NOT get attached to her and if you dont want to take her back or she isn't treating you right kick her to the curb.

![]() Sky, if you think it's bad now give it a few years. The bad part of owning your own business is that it seldom requires less of your time after it starts to take off. Spouses often feel neglected when the significant other spends all of their time working no matter how important a particular project might seem. The feelings of neglect will remain and it's gonna be up to her to decide if she wants to accept it and get on with life. It's an ages old problem for couples and it probably won't end with you. Good luck

![]() No flame intended and sorry to stray the subject here, but I think the above comment was uncalled for and downright crappy. You can't judge a whole gender for the bad apples. For example:
"All mean are cheating, nasty, stinky and selfish pigs who just want sex and then want to loaf around on the couch and do nothing." Now are some men fitting the above description? YES. Do ALL men fit in this mold? NO. Yes, many women are B1TCHES nowadays, but we aren't all bad. So, PLEASE, don't down the good hearted ones by grouping us together with the heartless and greedy ones. Some of us still care about others and aim to please, so cut us a break. Thank you. ------------------ Elisha~5.0 HO Racing (ahem HIGH OUTPUT!) 1994 GT: Under top secret construction Email: Belle@Mustangworks.com AOL name: GT306Chick |

![]() Ok...I feel the need to interject here.
First of all...it seems pretty clear that you love this girl yet you seem to have your priorities in the right place. That's a definite plus for you. Secondly, a woman should never be your #1 priority. I know that may sound harsh, but if you turn your world upside down for a girl, what are you left with? YOU need to be your #1 priority and let her be your second. You sound very dedicated to your business and I applaude you for that. If you compromised and gave into her complaining you might screw up your future. Now all this may sound harsh and unfeeling but I assure you I know how important love is. But you also have to realize that if she loved you as much as you seem to love her, then maybe she'd understand your comitment and know that some sacrifices have to be made and that you're doing the best you can. On a more general note, I'm a firm believer that women need to much attention in the first place. I had a girlfriend that I lived with for about 6 months (we were together for a little over a year) and I spent almost every little bit of my free time with her and she STILL complained it wasn't enough. She hated one of my best friends and tried to keep me from hanging out with her as well. I just think women need to learn to be lower maintainance. Spending time with a woman you love is great...but so is being with your friends and just having some time by yourself. I think you should be very comforting but still be firm and do what you know is right. There will always be time later if you decide to change your mind. Just don't lead her on. That's just straight up mean and I know you don't want to hurt her anymore than she's already hurting. ------------------ 1984 1/2 GT350 (#842 Hatchback w/ T-tops), 302HO, Comp cams Xtreme Energy cam, Carter 625cfm carb, Weiand Stealth intake, MSD distributor, MSD coil, FMS 9mm wires, 1 5/8" MAC unequal shorties, 2 1/2" MAC Prochamber H-pipe, Flowmaster 2 chambers, KYBs, 16"x8" 4 lug Cobra Rs, Falken 245/45ZR16s |
