![]() First let me say, I don't want this to deteriorate into a mod v. pushrod debate.
I have been considering the sad state of affairs my 4-wheel transports are, and I think I am going to sell them both. There is another thread on here about the gremlins in my Escorts engine, so I won't go into that. So here's the deal........ I want a Mustang! ![]() I think they are the best looking late model stang and I should have a fair amount to choose from within say 200 miles of me in that range. So unless you want to give me a GT, lets not discuss other years/models. Besides, I will probably sell it for my Cobra in two years anyway. What are the weak areas on cars of this vintage? I figure the 5.0 and the 4.6 each have different things that like to go wrong. Let me know what I should be looking for on the body, and signs that the car may have been driven harder than they want to admit. I know my way around the cars I've had, just never actually picked up a Stang. Thanks in advance for the help. Mike PS. For those of you who must voice and opinion on the 5.0/4.6 question, please just vote in the poll above.
